Hi all,

I moved to my current place last year and have since brought it. Last year though the small flowerbed we have had nothing but weeds in and was a right mess. It has been nothing more than a giant cat litter tray to be honest. I cleaned it up a little bit, removing overgrown weeds and climbing plants and this year these popped up among all the other weeds.

I am no expert, but to me they look very much like papaver somniferum. What a result if they are.

and a slightly closer pic...

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Apologies if this is not the right place to ask such questions.

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.

Haha, lucky me I guess. Am I allowed to ask about harvesting here? I read a gentle score with a razor blade, leave overnight and collect?

Yeah is an odd one.... there was nothing there last year either so who knows where the seeds came from. Everything is very enclosed here too...not much nature or even wind to carry things. Funnilly enough though I was almost tempted to buy some Hens and Chicks or Gargantuian seeds but never bothered in the end.

Was a single women who rented here 2 years before us. Also, 200 yards at the end of my road is the police station HQ. Obviously not too paranoid if she was an opiate deva.

That's right, they have always been common in little old ladys' gardens and do tend to spread as weeds. Do us a favour, come autumn, soak all the seeds with a handful of shrooms and water the police station garden beds with them.

Haha, maybe I shall.... reminds of an acticle in my local newspaper where I grew up and someone plant a load of cannabis outside the police depot there and had to wait for a member of the public to inform them what is was... I think mimosa hostilis is centuries safe Pleased and by then we will be in a far greater evolved society

Wow, what a great find!

You sure you didn't plant those? Wink
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”

Just out of curiosity, once dried out processed to a smokeable form, can the opium be added to DMT and vaped in a GVG?

You can just give a few vertical slices with a blade and pop two of those seed heads straight into a cup of sugary hot water for a nice opium tea. That way you don't have scored pods visible for others to see.

In England and most of Europe you can grow as many as you like for garden ornament purposes.
"Turkish White" " Giganteum" "Danish Flag" are good high yielding cultivars should your interest extend beyond the purely aesthetic.
