How important is it too you guys to keep track of the dosage when using DMT?

I am mostly talking about vaporizing it, orally I think keeping track of the dose is only common sense. And much safer.

But when vaporizing it it seems like the risk is lower, not that I am saying you shouldn't be cautious for your conscious' sake. But does keeping track of the dose help you clarify the experience or is it more of a safety precation?

To me when vaporizing I never have measured the dose, and just put a reasonable looking amount in the bowl. Of course I am still a huge noob when it comes to dmt, but I just wanted to see what you more experienced people thought about this.

Well I'm probably not "more experienced" but I weigh my dose's every time. And I have noticed my experiences are dose dependent.

Dose's in the 30-40 mg range seem to have a faster pace to them. harder for me to intergrate "most" of the time.

20-30mg doses have, so far, been more connected with something.

Although I am sure this will all change.

I'm not a fan of DMT alone right now it feels empty without an maoi present. I really enjoy dosing harmine sublingually and measure my first dose at 30 mg and just eyeball my further doses for the night because I feel like it doesn't matter too much while inhibited. This is me though...

I think it becomes "less" important to weigh your doses once you have gotten to know how the chemical reacts to you. I wouldnt feel terribly worried about eyeballing a dose as I know approximately what my dose sizes look like with the DMT i have. But it would be important to know for each batch what the size of a pile looks like versus strength.

For newcomers I stress that weighing until you become comfortable with it is important though.

Completely agree. When I first tried DMT after my first extraction I always weighed out my doses. After getting fairly comfortable and after my second extraction I weighed the first 10 or so trips and then have pretty much been eyeballing my doses ever since (except on a few special occasions).
1% of reality is within our plane of existence. What we feel... what we see... what we hear... what we "think" we know... The other 99% percent of reality can only be shown to us through DMT. This 99% lies within the "Realm of the Unknowns". We can only experience FULL reality when we leave this vessel, our bodies. DMT gives us a taste of this full reality... the universal knowledge is given to us by the beings who call "hyperspace" their home. When in hyperspace there is no "self" but instead this self is replaced with pure and raw energy. ENERGY CAN NOT BE DESTROYED, ONLY TRANSFERRED OR TRANSFORMED! So when you have that "ego-death" during a breakthrough trip, don't fret, you are not being destroyed but yet..... YOU ARE BEING TRANSFORMED.

I LOVE YOU, RESPECT YOU AND I THANK YOU... Dimethyltryptamine ... for showing me the 99% of reality that I would never have experienced in everyday life.

I eyeball most of my freebase doses, nothing wrong with leaving some extra in the pipe. Smile
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”

No doubt... Big grin My usual routine is to cover completely whatever I decide to use with DMT... marijuana, mullein, blue lotus, whatever... and then after covering it with DMT I add a nice little bump on top of the "blanket". Hasn't failed me once. Thumbs up Very happy

The special occasions I speak of is showing others who are prepared to see the light of the spirit molecule. I have to be precise in my measurements so as to not turn them off... but my spaceship is always full to the brim! I'd rather slightly overshoot and get blasted down the rabbit hole rather than undershoot and just peek my head in. Big grin
