I'm following from ling time the developing of the phalaris stuff and also for arundo donax...

No one have think the idea of making an ayahuasca in a boiling pot?

It's sayd on erowid thath with arundo donax there was a "sufi ayahuasca" but noone knows the way they cook it...

So it's possible that the gramine by protract boiling will go away or form other compounds?

For me this questions are interesting

If this possibility is possible sperimentation and chemistry test would be not less interesting

I love you!

Gramine does not seem to breakdown with boiling, so if you drink it, you'd be ingesting a potentially toxic alkaloid.. Not recommended.

"Sufi ayahuasca" is speculation and might be dangerous to attempt it. Arundo donax contains a big mix of substance, I would not recommend drinking it. First find out what's inside, look into TLC, get it tested. At the very least extract and test with marquis reagent, if it turns black dont use.

Jim DeKorne reported experiencing some sort of allergic reaction from a pharma experiment using an extraction of Arundo Donax.

i thought gramine wasn't soluble in water?
so couldn't we just boil the phalaris in vinegar/water for like 7 hours then decant a lot.
evap down to a small liquid portion
add lime and maybe water to make a good consistancy.
napth pull it for dmt
maybe clean it too.

that's the way iv been seeing it lately in my mind.
i just gotta find a good source for phalaris (im going to grow it its a good source)

edit: err practically insoluble. https://wiki.dmt-nexus.m...sical_Properties#Gramine

freebase gramine is insoluble in water indeed, as is dmt. but in salt form (i.e. as it is in the plant) it is very water soluble.
