Hey all. Ive been here a while, lurking & reading a ton of things. Im particularly interested in harmala alkaloids. I love magic mushies, especially in combination w/ harmaloids. I dont study frequently because I do believe moderation is key in everything. I consider it more of an exploration of one's self, w/ therapeutic advantages. Personally mushies have changed my life since that very first trip 1 1/2 years ago. It has motivated me to get on track to working towards life goals, & has semi-permanently cured both my depression & social anxiety. I say semi-permanently because after a decent length of time (maybe 4-6 months) the longterm effects seem to gradually fade a bit. Ive recently performed my first successful extraction of syrian rue seeds, after many, many failures due to freak accidents, vague recipes, & ignorance. But I have learned so much from each of my failures thusfar. Im active mostly on Botswap and Wikidfungus... It is my opinion that DMT-Nexus is the most educational & informed site out here in regards to psychoactive substances & clandestine research on the special plants, fungi, & substances of our world. Its a shame that so many plants & fungi are deemed illegal by many governments.... Who are they to play as creator??

Im an avid botanist, & I have many awesome & beautiful plants, both active & non-active. I mainly grow my plants indoors. Included is Yopo, Acacia Simplex, P. Viridis, Khat, Kanna, Justicia pectoralis, Alternanthera lehmannii, Absinthe wormwood, maddog skullcap, dwarf skullcap, salvia divinorum var. 'paradox', passiflora incarnata, norfolk pine (christmas tree project), morning glories, calamus, valerian, avocado, san pedro, delosperma bosseranum, jade plants, brugmansia, lactuca serriola, and always getting more new plants in trades & sproutin new seeds and such. Guess I got a green thumb Smile My weakness is seed germination, probably mostly because my house is dry. My strong suit is cloning & I seem to be particularly good at growing salvia. Maybe pictures will find their way upon this site in the future. Also growing peppers & tomatoes Very happy

I love doin chemistry & am always learning new things about it since it is a future passion of mine but am ill-equipped & too poor to perform many things id like to. Doesn't keep me from learning & dreaming tho Smile

I consider myself a scientist of sorts, or at least in attitude. I almost always conduct a research report if a study is to be done... I enjoy reading reports from other like-minded people as well. I have been told that my means of getting extractions done, & of my equipment, & cultivation, are often unconventional, but they work for me.

I thoroughly dislike vague teks so if I am ever to post a tek you can be sure it will be simple & clear, easy to understand for a n00b. 1 thing that is important for me is the community that is active on a site such as this. I have recently had a misguided & bad experience with an OMC which had me worried for a bit due to their serious & sudden unexplained abuse of power. I have decided that in case I become active on a site & devoted to contributing, I want to know whether the people are genuine, helpful, and passionate about their beliefs. I refuse to associate myself/my screenname with any sites that are paranoid, power-abusing, or all in all make someone not welcome. I dont think that will be a problem here, since this seems like a community full of people like me but unique in their own ways.

I appreciate many substances that seem unappreciated by a majority because some just dont have the patience for experimentation. One perfect example is opium lettuce. I have had much time & resources to experiment with this plant. I have tried several extractions on tons of material that was wild-found. Ive determined its mostly medicinal & not really recreational. Many people only look for that 'buzz' or the 'high' from herbs... or constantly compare it to cannabis in terms of effects. It is naive & ignorant to do so in my opinion, & in order to really appreciate an herb you need to have patience with it & come into a new experience w/ no expectations or bias.

Well, I could keep typing & typing away but I think this is long enough lol.

Welcome to the Nexus!

Whats your interest in harmala alkaloids?

When you take mushrooms, whats your usual dosage, and whats your harmala and shroom dosage when you mix them?

Did your avocados fruit yet? How long did it take from when you planted them?

Do you have some pics of your plants?

See you around!

thanks Smile lol ive read quite a few of ur posts on harmala extractions endlessness.

I usually take around 1.5 to 1.7g mushrooms with around 150mg mixed harmala alkaloids. Seems to boost tha trip quite a bit. Ive noticed that it adds a happier aspect to tha mood while tripping, seems to lessen anxiety, is slightly relaxing, and it does seem to approximately triple tha strength of tha visuals of a mushroom dose.

My avocado tree hasnt fruited but I dont really expect it to since it is confined to a large pot. It has had spurts of growth, doesnt seem to consistently put out new leaves. And im not sure why but the leaves seem to have an issue lately where they will start turning brown along tha edges and wither away... Easy way to get an avocado pit to sprout is to take a fresh clean pit, put 3 toothpicks in it & have tha wider fatter bottom part of tha pit submersed in water. If it dont sprout within 30 days, it is a dud & should be discarded. I usually let it go in tha water (change every 2-3 days) til tha root bottoms out & tha first leaves just start comin out, then i bury tha pit half above soil, half below. They are pretty easy to take care off, they like sun.
