I dont have enough to purchase a digital mg scale online. So I have two questions.

1) What physical locations (stores) may carry it?

2) There must be some way to measure DMT in the mg range, with out the uses of a scale. Is there an old school way of measuring??

Most glass shops in most towns will sell at least one mg scale around 30.00. Estimating dose, not really the best thing (IMHO) as a few mg difference with this stuff really does make a huge difference.

I beleive I read a thread here on estimating dose, just spent a few minutes searching for it and couldn't find it, maybe someone else remembers?

It is impossible to figure out dose WitHoUt a scale. I have a bundle of mg spoons. Everytime I take the same size scoop it varies by 2-6 mg. imagine three scoops that should be 15mg but is actuall 28mg. You cannot eyeball doses. Although you can get comfortable enough to where you can judge it by how many puffs you take or how long you Vape. I just simply use the scoops to transport it onto the scale. Seriously $25

Density, and therefore weight, varies with types of extraction, source of MHRB (Brazilian vs. Mex, etc), as well as the specific products used for extraction.

When comparing 2 seemingly similar sized volumes of spice, from different extractions, etc., I have seen a twofold difference in weight...............

Therefore, eyeballing, IMHO, has about a +/- 50% or more variation..............

Not really something you want to HOPE that your doseage is proper.........!!!!

I use a tiny metal spoon that I bought from a local headshop. It was sold separately but also in the an insufflation kit. It costed me 1 or 2 euros I believe.

My scale is too inaccurate so I use this tiny scoop for measuring out doses. 3 ~ 3.5 is usually enough from a crackpipe and 4 when smoking from a bong, but it really depends on things as purity and all that. With a new batch I usually work my way up from 1 scoop to try to get a feel for the potency / purity.

I took yalls advice and ordered the $25 scale from Amazon. I feel better now.

Awesome! You won't be disappointed. You'll notice that sometimes it seems like it doesn't register very small amounts, like say you have 10mgs and you goto put 5mgs in. What I do is take the tray off and put it back on then add more it will register easier. Also sometimes what I think is 5 mg is actually only 1 or 2. If you remeasure what you put it you will see that it's not that it's inaccurate, it's that the amounts you think your putting in are smaller than you think.

Bigger flakes are less dense, weigh less, than clumps of smaller specs. I also recommend getting some kind of spoons. Either milligram scoops or something small. I also use glass vials with screw on lids to store my DMT. Much easier than using the small dope bags. Weigh the vials before placing dmt in it so you know the tare weight when checking what you have left.

Make sure you use level flat surfaces to place the scale on. It's extremely sensitive. Our gas fireplace has a fan that creates small vibrations. I have to turn it off because it throws off the scale. Also people walking around near you or bumping the table your using is a bad idea when you are weighing.
