Hello everyone. I did DMT for the first time a couple of days ago and posted my experience here on the Nexus in my introduction essay.

During my trip I brought back with me a chant like song which sounded to me like "shama la te eu (or oooo). I have been obsessed with finding the answers ever since. My bf was doing some research and stumbled across Shambhala which is a Buddhist pure land and is entirely spiritual.

Well, in my trip I had a large female entity (which I now believe to be a Goddess) beckoning to me. Upon my reading of Shambhala I read the "kings" have several Goddess's surrounding them. Idk if this is purely coincidental or not but it really feels like this could be the place I was visiting. I never made it completely inside but was on the outskirts of a "city" outside of a great "wall".

I also want to be clear that I am not a Buddhist nor have I ever been much of a spiritual person until my DMT experience.

I felt compelled to share these findings and see if anyone had any thoughts on this. My mind is completely blown away by all of it and I can't wait to continue expanding my mind. Big grin

Thank you for reading

Is anyone on this forum familiar with shambhala or anything that has to do with it?

While I am no expert, I know that Shambhala is a sort of modernized/westernized Buddhism that focuses on the destruction of the ego in order to embrace the inherent goodness in oneself and others, mainly through meditation and teachings. Here's a link:

3rdeyeopen- interesting description of your journey. While I have not seen the city and walls you speak of, I have certainly seen a large female entity floating above me, watching over me. I feel that the spirits are often beckoning me to come join them somewhere, but I can never quite make it there before my journey ends. I am planning on brewing some Ayahuasca soon, which I hope will give me more time to find this mysterious place.

Something you might be interested in reading about is Devi, the Great Goddess. I think it is possible that this "goddess" we see is a manifestation of her. While there is no way to know for sure, it's something to consider. Here's a link:

Isn't it interesting how so many people that have never met each other have such similar visions? Makes you think...

shambhala is a mythical city, believed to be full of enlightened beings..sort of like the ideas of Telos, Agartha, Hyperborea, and Atlantis.

^the "shambhala" buddhist group in that link above is just what some people called their group..shambhala is not a type of meditation or buddhism..it is just a mythical city some people believe in..weather or not it is real..I cant say..

I have always thought that maybe shambhala did exists..or maybe even does somewhere..but that it is the same thing as atlantis and is linked to the old stories of hyperborea and telos etc..
Long live the unwoke.

Yes it is completely crazy to me and yet so amazing that we all have such similar experiences. It definietly makes me think.

Thank you so much for all the information and for the links which I will be sure to check out. Let me know How the aya trip goes. I would love to hear if you make it to the entity! Smile

Thank you Jamie. That pretty much coincides with what I've been reading about Shambhala. I had never heard of it before but I certainly hope it does exist! It would be amazing to get to see something like that.

As I said before, this was only my first journey and I hope to take another one sometime in the next couple of weeks. I have been thinking if I meditate and chant the words I brought back with me hopefully I will go to the same place as before.

Thank you both for your input! It really does help to be able to discuss these findings and get feedback!

well i have a book called The Secret of Shambala, its part of a series called The Celstine Prophecy, its a fictional spiratual adventure story. I have only read the first book in the series but reading this has kinda inspired me to revisit them, they are pretty cool books. A decent movie was made about the first in the series, but the first book does not mention shambala, only vaugley hints thats where its heading.

Its interesting that others are seeing/feeling the female entity. In one of my first experiences (one of only about 3-4 dmt expereinces) I felt a female entitly come down in front of me, as if she decended from the sky, moving with the music that was playing. Then she did a thing where she was suddenly not just one entity, but several, all connected completely surrounding me (reminded me of when you fold paper up and cut out a person, then unfold it and have a string of little paper people holdig hands) . There was a very comforting and loving feeling with this, protecting and motherly. We put some shavings of ayahuascsa vine bark on the bowl, I was thinking maybe this was the Mother Aya spirit people talk about.

I will have to check out those books Smile It is interesting that so many of us have experienced the "motherly" female entity. I have also spoke with others who have seen male entities. It is all so awe inspiring and really gives us more questions than answers but I for one did not even have these questions in my consciousness until DMT. I am so grateful for the experience and for this forum where we can all speak of our different (and sometimes similar) journeys.

Thank you all for your replies.
