Hi guys, I'm trying to raise awareness among popular entheogenic-centric internet communities for the Kickstarter Book "Drugs Digitized".

Drugs Digitized Kickstarter Link

This book begins with the history of drug prohibition and provides an overview of modern drug use in America today. I have gathered studies and statistics from peer-reviewed medical literature and reputable polling sources around the world and present them in a clear, organized fashion, as plain proof our current system of prohibition has failed. I provide information from a variety of experts in various fields (drug abuse, statistics, medicine, mental health, law enforcement), and am in the process of collecting additional interviews.

The final section of the book details the current state of online drug dealing. Obviously it is nothing new to you that, given you have cash in hand, anyone can have any drug (illicit or otherwise) safely and anonymously delivered to their doorstep with expedited shipping within days, all through the internet. I won't name names on this site as its against the rules, but everyone knows what sites I'm talking about. The pro's and con's of such systems (deep web sites, clearnet RC vendors, email dealers, etc) are discussed both within the current legal sphere and possible future legal frameworks.

I have compiled statements and am currently conducting interviews (online and IRL) with various online vendors, money launderers, law enforcement agents, and customers to discuss topics like:

Current drug laws, Legalization, Drug Abuse Programs, Reducing availability of drugs for the underage, Modern methods of drug dealing/transport, Why they choose to do what they do, Their personal lives, relationships, education, histories, and more

(Note: all persons interviewed who involved in illicit operations have had their names/associated-online-ID's changed, as well as any personal information that could lead to their identity modified for privacy reasons)

DMT Nexus is not mentioned by name in the book, but both you guys (the community of dmt users) and various tek's you have crowdsourced are discussed briefly. No information which could lead to public outrage or anything like this is given about you guys/what you do, we dont want any site to come under fire whatsoever!

With enough support we can get the topic of legalization coaxed out into the mainstream. Marijuana legalization is almost there, more teens smoke weed than tobacco nowdays, and over 50% of the US supports marijuana legalization.

This is not only an issue of individual rights, it is a major public health and safety issue (not to mention the massive amount of funding it takes to fund the DEA and related anti-drug activities). With legalization and heavy regulation we can reduce overdoses, reduce ER visits, lower rates of addiction and transmitted disease, slash our prison population, and get people who have substance abuse problems the help they need, rather than threatening them with jailtime, a criminal record, and ruined future. This is not just conjecture, it has been done before (netherlands, portugal, switzerland, etc), and is incredibly effective.

YOU are the exact demographic the book represents. Responsible, intelligent drug users and synthesizers, who use the internet to communicate and develop better methods and teks for doing what you love doing. Sharing stories and opening up to each other is something you simply could not do if you did not have the right outlet.

If you like what you hear I'd greatly appreciate it if you gave the book a look, maybe throw a buck or two at us. For just 15$ you can have a copy of the book delivered to you, cost of shipping included. The publication date is set for mid November. Your comments, questions, or suggestions are very welcome.

All Kickstarter donations go towards the publication costs, paying for proper editing, printing and distribution of physical and e-book copies. 10% of all eventual book sales are donated to MAPS, Erowid, and NORML. MAPS especially has done a lot of legwork in getting scientists access to psychedelics for medical research purposes.
