Greetings fellow psychonauts,

I am fairly new to the dmt community but I am not new to the concept of what it means.

Since childhood I felt as if I did not belong. This society did not seem quite right for me. Like the quote from The Matrix - "a splinter in my mind" seemed a perfect explanation on what I felt. There was alot of trauma in my childhood that made me question this world even more. To escape the madness of it all, I had an overwhelming urge to explore & learn about other societies. As I child I would ride my bicycle for hours with no destination in mind. Being in a new place was the goal it seems.
As I got older I joined the military and had the opportunity to travel all over this country and visit other countries. Along the way I gathered information about the different cultures. They all seemed so different but on the other hand they seemed similiar. Even the cultures that had little or no contact with the rest of the world. Afterwards this material world wasn't enough for my hunger. I wanted to visit different states of consciousness. First alcohol, then marijuana, mushrooms, LSD, peyote, yopo, & now jurema. Now everything started to make sense. I finally could wake up and pull that splinter out of my brain.
Now I feel elated to know I can compare notes with other psychonauts without the typical "But that's impossible!" response.

Thank you for welcoming me to this forum.

No doubt! Nice quote by Wei Wu Wei. Reminds me of that trippy effect of holding two big mirrors against each other.

Peace
