For me, so far, NO. It hasn't gone away and I'm not entirely sure that it will. I have read multiple times on this forum of other member who share the same Pre-flight anxiety, and have for quite some time.

Many use meditation, music, or other methods to calm themselves down before dosing. I def. suggest you find what works for you. I still havent found my method, and I havent smoked for quite some time because of it.

First i feel my heart beat increase, and that sensation flow through my veins. Then I start to sweat. Panic starts to overwhelm my thoughts. I second guess my actions. I become shaky. My breathing becomes erratic. Then I bail on dosing.

It sucks really. I am trying to figure out what to do about it. i am too grounded to this place. I need to let go.

Well, my anxiety grew, and I increased my dose size everytime. So I dont know if thats what caused it or not. All i do know is that 40mg and 45mg was insane, and I hope to visit that dose again soon.

Truthfully, I dont think it will leave on its own if at all. You need to try an find a way to counteract it. Do you have anxiety with other things as well? Like in everyday life things?

And Please do not post the same question in multiple threads. That isnt going to get your question answered any better, and its rather messy in the forum. I noticed it twice in Open discussion, and one in Introduction Essay. I'm hoping someone notices and removes them.

No I have not tried orally. I have heard that changa helps with those that get anxiety from it. I get slight anxiety from certain things periodically. just enough to feel it. But DMT gives me the same feeling as if I'm being pulled over by the cops, or bungie jumping.

Pot gives me anxiety as well. When i can control it better I can actually enjoy the high, but I am a light weight and the craziest small amount blasts me into being "dazed and confused" which gives me enormous amounts of anxiety. I wish I had the tolerance i had when i was a teenager.

Pre-flight still happens to me as well, but it's more of a physiological reaction of fear than a mental one. Once I hold the vapor in my lungs for a few seconds, my body instantly relaxes and calms down (at least till I close my eyes Laughing ) and the heart rate starts slowing down (as it will if you hold your breath no matter what's in your lungs), and then from there I'm usually fine. It's just something you have to push through. You have to learn to dissociate from the physical symptoms that fear throws your way. DMT can at times create a sort of fight/flight reaction, and your body is gonna start pumping numerous hormones and this and that, but you don't have to identify with that fear. You can acknowledge that it's an automatic biological reaction, but that there isn't actually a real threat or something to be scared of. This is part of the first step of letting go. After that it's pretty easy really.

Many Nexus members experience pre-flight jitters / anxiety. It's perfectly normal and for some it will eventually go away and for others it will always be there. I still get them. Before vaping the spice it's increased heart-rate, sweating, slight feeling of anxiety. Once the spice kicks in it's usually followed by an "omg, why did I do this again?" which quickly subsides as the trip increases in intensity.

See the anxiety as a friend who makes sure you're not being stupid. Don't try to fight it, befriend it.

i have been doing for a while and i still get it. i use to freak out when i came back cause i couldnt feel my breathing or tell my body to take a breath either but i dont freak out anymore but i still get a higher heart rate but it probably more excitement then anxiety. dont fight it or it could lead to a bad trip like what happened to me on one occasion. just do it when ur 100% ready Thumbs up
It's not the feeling of the high when you're running round. It's the friends that you find when you're coming down

Nah I'm still terrified, hehe. It's just the urge gets good enough that you can overcome it, if it doesn't, I put the pipe down.

If it does...Thumbs up Shocked Twisted Evil Sick Razz Big grin
