Hi,
I will be buying the Glass Vapor Genie Sherlock soon, and I have this butane torch with the adjustable flame length?

Would it do the job?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

It looks like it should be good. The only real potential problem is that a lot of butane lighters aren't designed to be lit upside-down (as is required with lighting the GVG). If they aren't designed well, they can still do the job, but they'll start to malfunction pretty quickly and become the source of much frustration. If it ends up working out well, then all the better. If you find yourself having difficulties with that lighter, I would recommend looking into acquiring an Arc Table Torch lighter. It's designed to be lit at any angle, and I've had 3 butane torches (all more expensive than it), and this has been my good ol' faithful. It quite literally revolutionized by ability to have profound DMT experiences with great ease.

Much too strong a flame!

If you use that one, keep it on a very low setting.
I once tried a similar torch on my GVG (with low flame setting), and it cracked the top piece.

I wouldn't want to crack the top and it seems like it wouldn't be practical to use this torch upside down.

I have seen the Arc but it seems like I won't be able to find it easily. I am in the US but I can only find three of them, being sold together on eBay. What am I gonna do with three? They are durable enough. Smile

I also know about the UK site but that is too expensive.

Do you have any other suggestions or links?

I took someones suggestion and got the Blazer micro torch PB-207. Love it. Fires in any position and people say good things about it. It was like 45.00 usd delivered and I already had two cans of Vector filtered butane for my Iolite (a great portable ganja vaporizer). It doesn't feel awkward to me when I use it with my GVG...well that is until you know when! Quality does cost a little more but when your investment keeps on working as you want it to, time after time those dividends easily offset the few shekels more you had to spend, in my humble opinion at least.

Good luck on your hunt. Please let us know what you choose.

I found where I got my Arc from (I'm in the US too). I'm PM'ing you where you can find it.

The Arc is cheaper and I think I will choose to save some money on the torch and spend the difference on MHRB. Smile
