Hi I am new to the DMT arena, I am hoping to take my first journey in the next week or so, I am looking for some advise from the user community here, I have a volcano vaporizer and was wondering if this would be a good way to start out using DMT, are there any special requirements I need to be aware of.

I personally haven't used it, but this is what some other users have said. Icon wrote:... it does the job very cleanly, but too slowly. you can break through on the vulcano. Have it on max temperature and then wait a few seconds after turning on the turbines before putting on the bag. As soon as you see vapor its time to put the bag on, quick! Have a friend refill the bag if you are too zonked, then suck it out like a madman blessed be all forms of intelligence

From my experience, the 'cano works great with pure white spice. If you use jimjam or the full spectrum stuff, the inside of your bag will become sticky and discolored, and eventually unusable.
