Just listened to this for the 3rd time, and to me it is the best hour of Terrance on the net. I listened to this after reading about Jung's ideas about the (possible) archetypal nature of UFO experiences and McKenna goes to a new level with this talk. I'm sure many have seen this but just in case, here she is:

Sorry, figured I should elaborate:
The interesting point that he gets across really, is this "The overmind hits a critical mass and begins to seep into time through the collective unconscious, as a harbinger, informing and reassuring us, getting us back on course." He equates this to when jesus appeared on the earth, bearing the weight of the Other, and the implications contained therein. He also implies that at some point we will engage in a dialogue with the Other and no longer require prophetic breakthroughs from the collective unconscious.

Really interesting stuff, especially for those of us who have seen in the physical world (Not necessarily hyperspace) some sort of UFO!

well, sort of..lol. He's got a handful of posts and was active for less than a month. He seems like a cool guy though and has an awesome website

there is actually people still here who knew mckenna personally though to

this one was pretty good from what i remember. Its been a while since i've heard it though.
