Hello all,

So for the past couple weeks I've been a bit hesitant to pick up the pipe. It's weird, I've felt the calling but I've also felt a slight hesitation that normally wouldn't be there. I've loaded up a dose and have had it sitting in front of me at least 6 times in the past week and I've pushed it aside each time. Well last night at about midnight I told myself, "come on get a grip son!". I picked up the pipe and vaporized about 30mg of pure spice. I was in my bedroom, a place I seldom trip in.

As soon as my lips left the pipe I immediately became aware of a nasty presence. A familiar one. I felt it's malevolence and could hear a weird repetitive "yayayayaya" sound. It was almost like a gargle. I instantly remembered this entity from a previous trip that I think I had repressed. I was being pulled down into blackness, darker than a pitch black dark room. The black seemed thick like tar or oil, or dense like dark matter. There was this big empty space at the bottom of some deep hole and I was in there with this miserable, lonely and bitter entity who was blasting imagery into my mind. Just awful stuff really. I felt a heaviness in my chest and a profound sadness in my heart.

I was really annoyed because I didn't want to be down there with this thing. This certainly wasn't part of the plan. I opened my eyes and turned on the light. I felt sad and I noticed that I way crying. Although I could no longer see the images that were being shown to me, I could feel them and the pain that was attached to them. I asked it to leave. I told it I had no interest in seeing what it had to show me. Then I looked up and asked the universe for assistance. I wouldn't call it a prayer but I did ask for help and immediately I had a feeling of love and some beautiful Angelic shapes appeared on my ceiling and the feeling of dread started to lift. I got the impression that there something about my bedroom that is off and that I needed to do something about it. When I started to think about this insight that was given to me, I realized that since living in this apartment, out of the 5 times I've done DMT in my bedroom I've only had one nice experience. The lounge is fine but the bedroom seems to attract negative entities. I already wanted to move out of this place and now I've put it higher on my list of priorities. In the meantime I'm wondering if anyone here has any advice for clearing out negative spaces and if any of you have experienced a similar issue with a particular location. I figure I had better do something to sort it out while I remain here, the thought of sleeping in a room with negative energy isn't too appealing. Any thoughts would of course be appreciated.

Peace and Love,

Mush

What I feel is that you (at least slightly) forced yourself to vaporize and that could have triggered the unpleasant experience. It has happened to me before. That's why I vaporize only when I 100% want to. Otherwise it's a recipe for a disaster for me. I'd rather wait as long as it takes(could be months) to feel like "going there" than to force myself.
Another thing is that I don't think the room that you vaporize in makes the experience but what you have inside your mind. I mean the experiences(good and bad) may seem to come randomly but I believe there is a reason why they pop up. The mechanism that triggers the nature of the trip seems to be beyond set and setting at times, but I believe every time we can learn something new, even if it's about facing our deepest fears and negative emotions. Good luck with your journeys and remember to smoalk only when you totally feel like itWink Smile

I agree with tele that it is most likely a mindset issue but I disagree that it makes no difference what room you are in. Multiple times while sober I have entered a room and felt a different vibe if you will. I don't really have any set beliefs about ghosts or spirits or what have you, but I definitely think a room can give off a weird feeling or a good one for that matter.

One thing I would recommend to clear the air in your room is to change it up, maybe look into feng shui if you're into that stuff or what I would do is rearrange it so that it just feels better. You could also burn incense or candles or do something to create a calming smell. Lighting is also important I think and can make a room feel better or worse, you could get some nice lights to put up. Basically whatever makes you happy put up in your room, just make it suit you.

If that doesn't work then maybe contact a spiritual advisor Pleased Or just don't smoalk there anymore. But ya, make sure you are feelin it before you blast off!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was definitely still a little emotionally compromised from a few things that happened the other day and thinking about it now after what you've said I think this was probably the catalyst for the negative experience. I was holding on to a few negative emotions and I think this is that dark place I went to. Strangely however, facing my fear last night (which I assume is what has been holding me back from launching lately) has actually helped alleviate my fears or facing something like that again. I guess that old saying is true, you have to face your fears in order to defeat them. I'm not begrudging of the experience because I think it's made my hyperspace skin a little tougher if that makes sense.

As for me I can only think of a few times when I have 100% wanted to smoke DMT.

personally I have to force myself to smoke about 75% of the time...but I sure don't have negative entity issues 75% of the time.....

I think mush_mage is probably right in thinking the problem has to do with "bad space".

or a location prone to negative entities for whatever reason.

But of course I could be wrong

Certain rooms and places don't work for me .
I think a room can put you in a bad or odd headspace through subtle associations we,re not even aware of way before a journey . It's a setup

I play it safe by avoiding certain places where repeated weird or negativity has occured in the past .

Combine a bad headspace with negative associations with a certain space its a recipe for a bad trip.

Nicely worded!

You admitted that the entity may have been an embodiment of your own negative emotions. And that it was familiar, which supports that theory. So you may have been simply facing an uncomfortable aspect of your own self. If that's the case, you will inevitably need to face it again. If you already have an idea what this part of you might be (and you very well might already know) then you can face it gradually in your everyday waking life... Then one day when you journey, if you encounter this being again, perhaps it will be in a happier place. The deep hole, all of that- very symbolic of emotional struggle.

I second Elyahu- I almost never am 100% stoked about journeying. There is always a need to overcome at least some hesitation, yet the incidence of bad experiences is very low. Preflight anxiety: normal.

I suggest that you totally transform that room. Repaint the walls in a color that makes you feel light and positive. Move the furniture- try pointing the bed in a different direction if the space allows. Put up some art or prints that give off the right vibe. Make it a warm, light, inviting place. If you want, go a step further and burn some sage, wave the smoke into every corner, chant a cleansing mantra. Reset the space. You DO have the power to do this, more so than you realize.
