Hey guys, I put this in open discussion not knowing where exactly it should be, but give it a read.

2 years ago, when I was 16 & slightly naive, I came up with this quote, which is still close to my heart today: "No matter what glasses you put on, you can't change facts" & I said this before even knowing what DMT was.

I know what it means, & I won't say for now, but can anyone guess? & When you put DMT into the equation, much like any other psychedelic drug, the quote gets more meaningful & much deeper.

Oh and also tell me if you liked the quote Very happy

Can we ever know the true nature of the facts? Any one new discovery in any field could change every previous discovery's meaning or authenticity in every field. Also it seems that without some sort of universal consciousness that's in agreement with itself, that facts are only relative. It makes sense that you acknowledge relativity&perspective by saying the part about the glasses, and If there are non-relative facts(the term in itself is relative) i do agree they probably wouldn't be subject to change. But what are the facts now?

I guess I should add that I am completely open to the idea of a universal truth or fact. But I doubt there could be words for such a thing, because as soon as we convert it into language it becomes relative. The closest I've gotten to it with language is: everything.

peace!

edit: I'd like to say that after thinking about it, your quote makes more sense. No matter what your perspective, the universe is. There are probably many ways to put it, i like your quote. i prefer "everything." and many others have their words for their meaning. Perhaps TRUTH should only be experienced, and cannot be articulated.
