So I had an interesting experience with some spice and I want to know if anyone else has had a trip like this and how they dealt with it. I've had over 100 experiences, but I've only had this happen twice.

So The first time, I had some pretty impure stuff from my first or second extraction I've ever done. It was an orange waxy substance, a huge glob on top of a half a bowl of mj. I was sitting in the back yard at night on a plaid mat with two friends sitting behind me. I could see pretty good due to the porch light being on. I took about 4 or 5 hits and layed down, then got up and hit it one more time and passed the pipe to a friend and bam... instantly, everything was REALLY different and not in a good way. It felt alien and my first thought was "this isn't dmt". Not knowing my friend had already hit the pipe, I said don't hit that, it isn't dmt! I never left this reality or anything. All of my surroundings were still there but they lost all detail. Everything was made of construction paper. I looked down at the plaid mat and the designs were 3d and floating just above the mat, twisting and moving. I looked back at my friends who were silhouettes since the porch light was behind them and so during the trip they looked like black construction paper cutouts and they never moved. The feelings I kept feeling were so negative. I felt like something else was there but I never saw anything. I had the thought that aliens were fucking with my head and I'd be like this forever. I asked my friends if they were okay and if anything was happening and they said they were fine and everything was normal. Then I knew I was just tripping an I had to wait it out so I did.

The second time was one big hit held in long of some pure white stuff I got this last time and again, I instantly thought "this isnt dmt, whats goin on". It was at night in front of a fire and everything was construction paper like and super simple. I kept seeing little designs overlaying everything and when I closed my eyes and it was like they were alive and yelling at me. It felt like it would never end but I knew it would. I thought it had been 5 or 8 mins, but my friend said only 2. Every experience feels familiar except these two. super alien non-dmt feel. has anyone ever had this?

Ive had this happen and im sure most people experience it at some point.

It happened to me within a single batch of the same dmt. At first it was everything i wanted dmt to be and then one day...Bam! A totally alien feel and my first thought was wtf happened to my dmt???

I kinda just had to sit it out like you did. I was close to ego loss at one point but i knew what was going on in my head had to be shown to me. I also had the feeling that an external alien force was driving the experience. It felt like a totally raw truthful experience. Quite uncomfortable though as the visuals had taken on a totally different style from the usual 3d happy hyperspace world i was used to.

Just put it down to experience. You will get a trip like that now and again.

I also had a really weird body buzz that went with it. Everything including me was vibrating and buzzing and looked kinda blue Smile

I did learn something from it though. Dmt is unpredictable Very happy i think it made my mind a bit stronger too after being bombarded with horrible truths and realizations. All you can do is accept.

I'v had trips that felt like i was being punished for lack of respect. If my life is not in an organised state then i should not do D. I have never felt like i wasn't smoking DMT but thats because nearly every trip is different. I have noticed that the best way for a trip to go bad is to fight it. As soon as you think or say "i want this to stop" your in trouble. For me its all about environment and submission.

You are trippin dude. Smile
I donno what to say, other than maybe lower your dose. How much are you taking in?
Maybe try CEV instead. I think that is pretty normal to think its not dmt, because it really takes things away from you and places other impossible things in its place.
I have heard a lot of people talk about cartoon / plasticine looking people and objects. So cardboard cutout seems pretty normal for dmt, actually any screwed up thing seems pretty normal for dmt...

In small doses I feel the alien all the time. But it like a non movie alien or traditional alien. More like 50s alien mixed with 50s type cars. Alien 50s robot. I don't know how else to put it.

If you do your own extraction you won't have to worry about if what you got is really DMT or not Wink

I dunno man, what you're describing visually is what I see before closing my eyes, usually. Like all the texture gets sucked out of everything and objects look almost drawn and painted like manga...cartoony. I like your analogy of everything looking like construction paper though, that's a good description.

I've had one experience of the beginning feeling alien and different though. I thought to myself "oh, this must be a new side to this that I haven't seen yet" and as soon as I surrendered to the feeling, it became beautiful.

I had a similar bad experience when mixing it with pot, so I've been avoiding the combo

Those are normal experiences, within the broad spectrum of what DMT offers.

I find that in almost every case, closed eyes are way more productive. The waking world can take on such a strange look that it can be disquieting. I do enjoy checking out the room after my peak... While coasting back down, even in very low light, the art on the walls does some pretty cool stuff. But by then the peak has passed and the overall mood of the experience has been fully established.

So, this is your first post here, yet you've done DMT around a hundred times. Let's hear about some of the other ones! That would make for a great introductory essay.

I experienced something similar to this after about 30 trips, since then it happens occasionally.

"a huge glob on top of a half a bowl of mj."

Not the best technique you have there I fear.

Sometimes when I mix green with crystals I get a similar result, yesterday I had one of these trips, throughout the remainder of the day I was extremely somber. So I drank beer until I puked Sick than had some good steak tacos.
