I pass by grasses that look suspect to containing sought after alkaloids often. It seems difficult if not impossible to I'D however. I passed by this giant patch of grass and it looks sort of like Phalaris to me maybe. I have some seed grown aquatica and I know several other people are growing. Just a thought maybe we could compile some photos and descriptions and it might make it easier for beginner grass hunters like me to make a positive ID, the more research the better. So anyway here is a shot of the grass in question.

Doesnt look like phalaris to me, but I'm no expert. If its phalaris, its definately not Arundinacea.
