I find the connection between dreams, dmt, and other natural mystical phenomena very interesting. I was thinking about trying to use very small doses in combination with Astral Projection practices, using minimal chemical to increase sensitivity and awareness to natural occurances of the same chemical.

My idea was along the lines of setting an alarm early morning(best time to AP due to specific chemical ratios after having been asleep for a while) wake up, use the spice and focus my intent while relaxing the body back to sleep.

I would like to hear from some people interested in the idea or anyone who has tried anything similar. Also does anyone get the subconscious urge to fall into a sleeplike sensation when working with dmt? What differences have you noticed working with it while tired/alert?

Thanks respect and love yall

EDIT: Is there a way for me to move this thread to the exporation of consciousness?

I once tried smoking dmt immediately after waking and had my only unpleasant experience. In retrospect I attribute it to being dehydrated, having no water during my 8hr slumber makes the smoke pretty harsh and unbearable. I started dry heaving and felt like I was going to be sick.

I have had stronger experiences when staying up very late until ~4am(I've read this is when dmt is most active within us). I've even seen others tripping for 15-20 minutes off their standard dose because of the time and lunar cycle.

And almost always when I'm alone I let myself drift into a dreamy meditative state after the trip. Lately I've been able to get my visions to be so concrete that I just don't want to leave and see them disappear.
