Police drop on Picton manIntelligencer Staff wrote:Drug trafficking charges have been laid against a Picton man following the seizure of nearly $70,000 worth of a hallucinogen known as DMT.
Prince Edward OPP report members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Project Longarm and the Canada Border Service Agency all played roles in the incident that ended with 40-year-old Derek Richardson being charged with importing a schedule three drug and possession of the drug for purposes of trafficking.
The agencies launched an investigation earlier this month when a shipment from Brazil was intercepted at Pearson International Airport in Toronto. The packages, which police report were destined for Richardson’s apartment in Picton, contained drugs known as dimethyltryptamine, a hallucinogen more commonly referred to as DMT, which is a natural compound found in many plants and shrubs.
Prince Edward OPP officers assisted with a search warrant at Richardson’s apartment and seized an additional 40 kilograms of the drug.
Combined with the packages seized at the airport, police confiscated a total of 120 kgs. Of the illegal drug. This translates to an estimated street value of $68,750 and equals approximately 13,750 hits of the drug, police report.
Richardson was held for a bail hearing. nice... This is why I HATE it when people sell DMT.. Who else would need 120 kilos of rootbark? Yeah, no wonder eyebrows were raised.. MHRB is also completely legal here..so I dont get how this is even going down legally unless they caught him selling/extracting.. Long live the unwoke.

the only other situation I can imagine is that maybe this guy was a mimosa vendor in canada..in that case it is entirely legal. Mimosa is not scheduled here and the sale of mimosa by canadian vendors is completely legal. Long live the unwoke.

Cops aren't stupid... they got the drop on him using customs info - as was said before, "who else imports 120kg of rootbark". Then they watched him til he did the illegal bits. Just like if I go to the store and buy 90 boxes of Sudafed... it get's you watched. Yeah... maybe. That would work out to about a pound and a half of pure DMT. Where would someone who was inclined to sell even be able to at those amounts?
I'll bet this is a mimosa vendor who is being aggressively (and illegally) prosecuted.

That is a load of bark alright. "science never proves anything; you can never duplicate an event precisely at the same moment in time as the initial event. science can only show correlation from the evidence and data derived from it." -benzyme

This guy was a vendor... He always had good quality bark. And exceptional customer service... This, what I'm experiencing now, is a whole new level of my being.

could you please pm me the name of the vendor in question? I would very much like to contact our government to complain about the illegal prosecution of people who have not violated any known laws. Long live the unwoke.

Lol; complete agreement. Well, it's got value 'here' because our species has to put price points on everything . But it's clear this fellow was not producing for just his own personal consumption, anyways. Maybe that's why this occurred. ~ Xtramint"If you gaze too long into the abyss, the abyss will gaze into you."

Wow.... sucks to be that guy right now. I'ts true that if he lives in Canada its legal for him to sell it there. Looks like he ships international though and MHRB is a grey area of the law in some places.
In the end I doubt they'll charge him for all those kilos of DMT (MHRB) But he'll probably get some kind of trafficking charge...

120 kilos of bark at 1% yield would be 1.20 kilos of DMT. At 0.03 grams a hit, that would be 40,000 doses. For a change the police have underestimated the number of hits. $70000/120 kilos is about $536 a kilo... is it really that expensive now? Damn. In the end, the cops are not all that smart. They have the element of time and numbers working in their favor. I pity being this guy trying to extract himself out of this mess. I'm glad that my small purchase from abroad did not end up like this. Just because I am paranoid does not mean that they are not out to get me. Everything mentioned herein has been deemed by our staff of expert psychiatrists to be the delusional rantings of a madman who has been treated with Thorazine who is hospitalized within the confines of our locked facility. This patient sometimes requires the application of 6 point leather restraints and electrodes at the temples to break his delusions. Therefore, take everything mentioned above with a grain of salt...
