i watched a show about everything we cant see about water and i was hitting my bong and i saw little algae floating around in the diff chambers and it got me thinking.

no one has ever done studies on bong water to see what kinda micro-organisms are living and thriving in the water? im sure in some ones bong out there theres a organism that eats tar or some undiscovered organisms. things that we could use to benefit the world but that will never be found.

I've also thought about this after a friend of mine left his bong water sitting around for a few weeks.
When I wanted to throw it out and clean it one day he got mad and said I was going to destroy the civilisation he had created, sure enough there were weird coloured spores, algaes and some odd little things swimming around in the chamber (think they were mosquito larvae) we left it for a few weeks longer but the water evaporated and his civilisation succumb to drought and famine. But seriously I wondered what the hell had grown in the bottom of that bong. Surely something that can grow in a tar rich enviroment must be pretty hardy.
