Hey everyone! long time lurker first time poster here. A little bit about how I got here: Before I was into psychedelics I use to be a complete ass to everyone who cared about me and would do anything to get a cheap high I was also extremely depressed and had attempted suicide fortunately my sister walked in on me with my belt around my neck barely conscious and saved my life.

I was also hanging with the wrong crowd.. One day one of my old "friends" told me he had shrooms and to come over. I had never tried shrooms at this point, or really knew what to expect I honestly thought I was gonna see crazy things and have a good time... He hands me a bag and says there's 5g in there. Fast forward a bit I'm home alone, my parents had gone away to Cuba, I take this opportunity and eat them all wanting to see cool hallucinations. So I waited...waited...waited. Then it hit me and oh boy did it hit me hard...

I haven't been the same person since. I now respect everything a lot more, I got rid of my friends who were taking me down a dark path, back in school, finally got myself a job and have direction in life. I also do not do heavy drugs anymore. I do still have some depression but nothing compared to before. Also I should add it did take work on my part to change I didn't just eat 5g of shrooms and suddenly my life was perfect. I took what I learned from the experience and started to make changes and so far it has really paid off!

I have wanted to try DMT and Ayahuasca for some time now, I have ordered MHRB from a Brazilian website over a month ago. Speaking of which does anyone know if there's any customs problems with MHRB in Canada right now? I check the tracking number and it still says "International item arrived in Canada and will be reviewed by Customs" since 2012/03/02 starting to get worried..

Anyway, I'm going to try to lurk less and be involved. This site is absolutely amazing! I've learned so much from what you guys post, I'm really glad I found this site!

I used to be in a similar situation that you described. My first psychedelic was DMT and I wouldn't have done it any other way. Mushrooms came next but they don't quite take me far enough without negative side effects.

It's interesting how psychedelics have helped me be a better person. I can't really say what or if I learned anything from my DMT trips but I definetly changed for the better after using it. I guess accepting death when you think you are dead is probably the main changing factor.

As for customs, last I heard it was best to order whole bark (unpowdered) for Canada. That was many months ago. If it fails, I believe you can still look for companies within Canada that sell MHRB.

Thank you for your intro. Its alwasy impressive and moving when someone has an awaking but does the work to change their life. Its no small undertaking.

As far as customs, you may want to call them and ask whats up. they may ask to interview you its not that un common for some country's. Thats been quite a while they have had it. If they do just ensure them your using the mimosa as a dye for art projects and it shouldnt be a problem. But yes powdered form does raise flags for manufacturing but the laws are still a bit grey. Call them and be confident you havent broken a law. know your rights but always be respectful. It should be fine but they will hold these shipments for a long time to see what people are going to do i think.
