Wanted to get some opinions after reading over some threads.
I use STB and reuse the same naphtha over and over because i simply freeze percp and pour back.
However after i am done pulling all the spice out i am left with some amount of yellow oil laden naphtha. My options as i see them are as follows:
1. Burn it off
Possibly the best disposal technique as i assume (someone validate?) that most of the Naphtha will burn up into H20 and CO2. Which is far better than...
2. Let it evaporate
Seems like this option would be bad for the environment but if you cant burn things (people who live in cities) then i suppose this is your best (exception of recycling) option?
3. Pour it down drain (DONT)
DONT DO THIS. Obviously it will end up in the air like evaporation or worse in our water supply or floating around as flammable gas in the sewer (ever seen Christmas vacation lol?). Also could chew up sink etc.
4. BEST OPTION? Recycle ?
Has anyone used activated carbon to clean the oil/extras out of their naphtha? Ive heard about it but havent really read any reports on if it really works or if its worth it?
Is buying activated carbon and going through that process worth the cost and time or is it better to evaporate my last bit into the air and plant an extra tree on arbor day????

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer, Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me, And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain
