hey new to this site.

i did an extraction before joining this site and this is my question.

blended about 3 foot fresh san pedro with equal water.

brewed in a crock pot 'slow cooker' for 48hrs, with lime juice.

poured out pulp and liquid into a cloth to drain.

and at bottom of pot, heavier than pulp and juice as it did not pour out was this sandy salty looking stuff, i chewed a tiny amount between front teeth and it is not sand it is more like a salt with no taste, i washed pedro before process, it is lightly coloured yellowy greeny, it looks like there could be close to half a gram in size.

i can see the granules.

i was only boiling it to make pedro juice, COULD this be mescaline citrate salt??

if so is the rest of the juice useless and void of magic?

any help is thanked heaps, hopefully before i just down it all. plrrrrrrr

That is some form of calcium deposit and is not active.

Discard this stuff, filter it good, and drink the brew without it.

one more question,

in a pedro brew with water and citric juice, does mescaline evaporate off some?

and can mescaline be damaged, destroyed by over heating?

it wont evaporate unless you reach the vapour/boiling point of mescaline--which is around 180C. if boiling in water, you are safe. if drying in a oven, this is risky, and it can easily become charred=too risky.
