I made topic about McKenna's death and what people do this day. But my post was moved. It was serious question. Mad Why hijack my post and move to forum where I cant post... I didnt make it for April joke. Very bad timing. Now its the day and I wasnt able to read what others do before this day.

I light candles and smoke tonight. I think I go print picture of McKenna and buy wood frame and hang on my wall. I feel sad today. He should be alive in 2012. Stupid cancer he had, so weird odds. I miss him but never meet him. He make more sense to me then anyone ever.

Now when I drive my truck I listen to mp3 and think very much on his words. Sometimes in germany I drive in woods and very nice nature and lakes and things and I feel happy. Like a connection. And then when I come to where I need to go left or right always seems the best turn then. Not sure how to explain. Every road feels good.

I share your feelings with Terrance Mckenna..
Listening to him speak is very comforting and inspiring.

How strange his death day is my on my birthday. He should be a guide for all.
It's amazing just to find out, so true and so clear that there is no good or bad, only love and fear and that is all we are messing with during our whole human history and WOW that was my first hit. A moment of freedom out of the ape's sealed skin.

That picture is a good idea. Never occurred to me. I don't have pictures much. I have only 2 of my girlfriend and 2 of my now deceased pets, that I loved so f*&în much years later it still pains my soul. They are on my bedside table. I don't have pictures of my late dad or any other family. I don't even have any. I don't have good relations with my family. I can't stand to see any of their faces.

But I'd like a picture of my hero. Just over a year ago I would not have believed it possible that I'd be some late act groupie and admire any man so. I have changed.

Sorry to hear about your post. You can still go to read it. It got moved to the April fools aftermath.
The reason why it got caught up in the april fools joke was because the word April was blocked and the word crack was in its place. So people didn't see the true meaning.
We all love McKenna very much. He was so inspiring and still is in his words. I am sure a lot of us have his thoughts close to us when we launch. His body and mind died, but his words of wisdom lives on.

Benny, thank you for remembering him and devoting your time to him, he would've love you for that Smile

I've never been prone to hero worship. In fact where many people in my grade school used to say their dad or Jesus was their personal hero, I never had someone that I looked up to for my entire youth. It wasn't until my first psychedelic experience, my first real breakthrough actually, that I found someone I truly admired and that is Terence Kemp McKenna. I love this man more than any other man I've met or listened to and feel a connection with him on an entirely different level.

Speaking of this connection, I find this thread an appropriate place to ask this. Has anyone else ever had an experience on DMT or another psychedelic where Terence pops into your mind and when it happens it feels like you and he are the same person? Like, in a metaphysical 'many-lives' interpretation of this, has anyone else ever experienced feeling like they were connected to Terence McKenna across time and space?

This has happened to me twice and each time has caused me to feel more and more of a connection to the things he has said. Specifically giving an example, this one time I was tripping hard on shrooms and had Terence's voice come into my mind (I wasn't listening to any of his lectures) and say 'you should try asking the thing what it is for itself'. Immediately after I heard his voice I had the strangest sense of deja vu, that somehow, some way, I had been the one who orginally had come up with the idea of 'asking the thing what it is for itself', although not in this life. Then the paradoxical feeling of being the butt of someone's joke, like the entities were whispering 'he STILL doesn't get it... teehee hahah!!!'

Maybe my entheogen use has caused me to lose some marbles along the way, but it's happened twice so I was wondering if I was the only one.

I watched these videos yesterday. Good to see some new footage, his words resonated deep and true with me in regards to my recent feelings and experiences...Though I suppose they always have...Cool
