okay so if i were to prepare yopo, i was thinking the best way is to smoke it. now that would require the active alkaloids to be freebase, but there salts. so i think i could prepare yopo like normal, until you add the lime. if i were to mix it with a basic solution of sodium carbonate(washing soda) to freebase the alkaloids, and smoke the dried out powder. i understand that sodium carbonate's boiling point is far above that cabable of a lighter. so using a bong to dose the proper amount in one big hit should be safe and effective. also to make the snuff properly i believe you mix in water and calcium hydroxide with the yopo powder, kneed to properly convert all alkaloids, and let air dry for at least a day to react co2 and the calcium hydroxide into less caustic calcium carbonate(to not burn the nose) i havnt seen anyone stress that point to make it calcium carbonate, then they just snort caustic hydroxides. now i need some help. ive planned out these preperations for my first real experience. the thing is, im not a 100% on this. is there anything unsafe, overlooked or just wont work in any of this?

Toast the seeds in the oven for like 15-20 minutes or whatever..you should smell some unwanted stuff vaping away from the seeds. Bufotenine has a high boiling point so it will not vape away unless you taost them too high.

Then crush the seeds up into a powder, mix in sodium carbonate and some water to make a paste..mix that around for a minute or so and then let it dry.

Once dry do 3 pulls on that with iso or acetone..

Collect and filter each alcohol pull and combine..and then evaporate that onto either caapi leaf or some other innert smoking material. Do not just evaporate this stuff all the way down without evaporating it onto some leaf mix. It will be an oily goo that makes a mess.

bufotenine can also be sort of frustrating for some at first..so this might help you work with it..
