Will dmt help me reconnect with people? Has it helped any of you with this or does it seem to further disconnect? Im a very spiritual person already and havent done dmt but have done very deep meditation and lots of cannabis and figured a lot of things out through my misadventures with cocaine and shooms lets just say the rabbit hole goes no further unless dmt gets in the mix. Im sort of afraid but i feel it needs to be done the molecule has found me.

Do you mean reconnecting with a person from your past or what?

It really is difficult to say not knowing better about your situation, but I can say it can bring you some new points of view.

Hello and welcome!

First thing that came to my mind when I read this: be attentive.

Psychedelics have a certain "entertainment" value.
I'd suggest putting your attention towards reallife, rather than primarily to develope in the psychedelic context.

To me, psychedelics open up new gates of developement. Show things to you, so you pay more attention to yourself in your daily life.

Do it, when it tells you to.
Otherwise you (for your own sake) please don't.

Hope I'm right with my assumption

be well

and enjoy

I think it helps you accept people more than reconnect. Like if me and my friends are sitting down for a session with the spice, then we all start preparing in our own way. This lets of a sort of brotherhood-like energy. Something like "good vibes for everyone". But DMT to me is much more personal in the actual experience, its very unique to you. So I wouldn't say the experience itself is bonding.

Best of luck! and safe travels

You will not re-connect with people because of DMT. DMT is not the solution nor the answer to any problem. DMT is a tool that will shatter your mind and open it up for new knowledge and insights.

The insights that DMT will provide can be incredibly intense and deep. It will not suddenly re-align your social skills and make you connect with people. It can however show you what you need to change about yourself to get there. I haven't smoked a lot of spice, maybe 8 or 9 times and all were sub-breakthrough doses and only one of them was a powerful teacher: it told me that I needed to work on my social life because I had neglected that.

I worked hard for three months. I struggled with my weed addiction(which is getting better, but it's still a struggle), worked incredibly hard on my getting the last things for my degree done(and it's going good) and I've invested a lot of time in social activities. Now, three months later I'm starting to see improvements in my life, and so I smoked some spice last sunday morning. I was rewarded for my hard work with a beautiful and brilliant trip. It was beautiful and unlike any other trip I've had before.

The spice will teach you, but it will not do it for you. It you want to re-connect with people, then you will have to re-connect with them through hard work. You will have to learn to control your cravings, your emotions, your desires and you will have to deal with being hurt by others.

To quote The Traveler
Quote:
DMT is like a bike, that bike can help you go to special places which would take a longer time if you walked that same distance. Though like with any bike, you still have to cycle hard to make big steps forward. Some people seem to mistake the bike for a taxi. They hop on, wait for things to happen, and then the bike falls over, resulting in the cursing of the bike. But since you're going faster you can also get lost / take unforeseen detours easier

The italics part was an addition of Enoon. I think this combined quote from Traveler and Enoon describe the spice perfectly. Good luck with your travels.
The spice extends life.
The spice expands consciousness.
The spice is vital to space travel.

VT is quite right. I just saw the interview with Graham Hancock and he also mentioned it is hard work, that Ayahuasca may show you a way but you have to take it. I suspect the DMT trip is not the best substance suited for this. If you want to better your life I think Ayayhuasca could be a possible path.

But even if I say that, I have my own sore soul to sort. And I too hope to gain an entry point or a grip on the personal issues I deal with. It may come from DMT, but my instinct tells me the flashy intense DMT experience will not provide me with one. There is work to be done for each of us and I have already made progress thanks to the psychedelic experience. More to come though.

It might not help you except your dad in the way you think it will, DMT has an ability to constantly blow your mind away. If this is your intention though I would meditate some over it before a trip, it might show you what you can do to accept him. DMT will NOT do the work for you, you must decipher the trips and learn from them.

Best of luck to you spicentheogodmt!
