the other night i decided to have a longer more drawn out session with changa. I experienced pure ecstasy for most of the duration, although when i smoked at the end, i had a darker experience in which i was shown my negative tendencies, addictions and thought patterns. (the entity used a very interesting metaphor of what looked like sniffing coke up its nose, and it basically put itself on loop and showed me how repetitious my addictions have been getting.. i haven't actually tried coke but i have been addicted to tobacco lately and have felt the need to smoke it a little too often) After this i had some immensely sticky phlegm that came out of my mouth. i spat it into a bowl and afterwards felt very refreshed and cleansed again. does anyone else get releases of phlehm when using the sacrament?

I get this phlegm. It is sticky and lumpy and a relife to hack out, though hard to expel at times. It can make it so hard to breath during a trip that I veiw it as a real problem. I've thought it may be from microscopic particles of lime or traces of solvent. Definatly comes worse when spice is over heated and smoked rather than vaporized. A small water bong helps. Water recystalization is great too but is frustrating to get a pretty product and high yeild from. In this world there are adults and there are children. In fact the world is filled with children; they are angry and hurt, frightened and abused, lazy and ignorant, stubborn and hateful. The world hates an adult and they would rather cause their peers to fail at any venture of self improvement before having to step up and improve their selves so as to maintain pecking order and evidence of the lowley opinion they have of each other. The best of them enslave the others so that they all consume and destroy all there lives in order to satisfy their immense greed claiming that they are providing a future for their legacy and never question the possibility of doing better in order to leave a real future for the children they will leave behind on this, our Earth. They pretend that it is impossible and when cornered they admit their apathy saying that they won't be around to suffer the out come. They hate the adults for exposing their immense weekness. The total failure that they call success. Mean while the adults strive to minimize their own impact and perpetually work to undo the damage already done. The adults who already know; they are the children of tomorrow.

May I ask either of you or anyone else who experiences this congestion; what kind of solvent do you use. Not just the type but what name brand as well. Someone who extracted spice uses kleen strip brand VM&P Naphtha and Acetone that is dried with epsome salts cooked off on a range top burner. Hydrated lime for gardening is used as well. In this world there are adults and there are children. In fact the world is filled with children; they are angry and hurt, frightened and abused, lazy and ignorant, stubborn and hateful. One time when I thought I really over did it I was 100% lost in intense hyperspace, my mind wasn't bent it was multidimensionally split, smashed and shattered. Then next thing all of existence was waves of convulsions through me pushing up a giant ball of phlegm. It was so intense but the trip ended up awesomely relaxing and meditative.

As it has been said about eco friendly extractions: the fumerate salt is better for your nasal membranes than the base is for your lungs. Think about any of the rest of the spices in your rack and if those would cause adverse reactions. Some of us are putting our bodies through a lot doing this often to the lungs. I started developing some sort of "bloating". I should start a thread. and yes the phlem is strong with this one, it may also be a healing "expectorant" effect but that is a case by case. Many solvents actually take NaOH into the solvent with the alkaloids, which if dried and vaporized without recrystallizing can cause burning in the throat among other less noticeable but probably more harmful side effect. The instant satisfaction is the form of wealth furthest from the soul anyway - so let us use the spice just for the sake of being nice - to our bodies, drinking aya for the slowest curve, and snorting the fumerate salt for a slightly faster return.

The "spice mucus" is removed rather quickly by the system, sometimes even during the trip it can come to the top of the throat. It's best to spit it out I think

Yes I get this sometimes. Once it was actually black - I think the spice was clearing tar and crap from my lungs. Every other time it has been clear but VERY sticky. Spit it out! Lose Control, Free My Soul, Break Me Open, Make Me Whole."DMT kicked my balls off" - od3

I'm not sure how many times you've vaporized - but I suggest aiming for a slightly less steep dose response curve from the fumerate snuff using all natural d-limonene as a solvent. The experience lasts longer, and is better for your nose than the freebase is on your lungs. And there is absolutely no risk of residual hydrocarbons entering your system - carcinogens = very bad.

Next time this happens to someone they should spit it out and take a look at it. Maybe even spread it around, shamans use phlegm during ayahuasca journeys to look into the future and such. Usually works better mixed but you might find one plant potent enough to expectorate (lung barf) then you can compare the stuff that comes at and see if it looks at you again. Could the purdge be partially or ever fully just a lung barf? http://www.anniesremedy.com/chart.php?prop_ID=22Smokers especially otta give expectorating a try if they are having a hard time getting a good dose - like their lungs are too clogged to get the spice to go through. I just remembered about the tiger growl I can do after vaporizing spice, very much unlike anything I can recall ever experiencing.
