I come here usually under the name of "Shabadaha", under which I had full membership priveleges. I just had to create this name because every time I would try to log in, I would get the classic "Error 404" which is an indicator that this website is maybe starting to become a target of subtle internet regulation. This insideous practice is beginning to become more commonplace from my understanding, and I haven't read anything about it on here, so I thought I would bring it to attention. I might be getting this error because I am overseas in Cambodia at the moment, and I know regulations might be stricter in this part of the world, but with all the issues surrounding this region of the world, I have a hard time believing that it is the local government putting restrictions in place on some relatively obscure website relating to a genre of knowledge that may as well be non-existent to this culture. I don't know if anyone else has encountered this, and I don't know if I will be able to log back in, but I have encountered the error both in trying to log in, and when I put "dmt-nexus.com" into my web browser. I have had to google the actual address of the forums to even have a look. Regardless of if this is just my problem, internet censorship is becoming more prevalent with really no legal justification it seems, and something to keep an eye on! Hope this message finds everyone well, Peace.

So you cant login with your ordinary username, but you can login with a new one from cambo?

Have you tried clearing your browser cache?

Nah I haven't actually tried that, I was just made aware the other day that the 404 error is something to be wary of, and when I got it, I suppose I jumped to conclusions. I'm heading off to another country tomorrow so I will scope it and see if anything changes, though I don't know what clearing the cache would be any different, because I could just make a new username.

I think if the site is blocked, then you will never be able to access the site. But if you can access most of the time and sometimes not, it's not blocked its your Internet connection. Wifi does that every now and then, as well as g3/g4 networks. I get it at least once a day on my work wifi and g3 & g4 network, maybe more.
So if the site was blocked, then it would be blocked for a long period of time, like weeks, months. Not just a 404 once in a while.

Skitty, if you find other sites are having the same thing happen or if it becomes persistent that you cannot get onto the nexus then you should try using Tor, it will bypass any government firewall/blocking as long as they have not completely blocked encrypted traffic. I don't think there is anywhere that blanket blocks encrypted traffic, but I could be wrong.

I had some similar problem on the weekend in Germany. Error 404 came but after waiting some time it went well again and came back sporadically.

I experience from time to time a "Server not found" or "Connection reset" error, but not 404 pages. It happens just every now and then, and it goes away usually after a couple page refreshes, so I figured it's just some DNS issue.

OP I think its simply because you tried to use the old .com url. The Traveler recently changed all the url's for the nexus to the .me domain.
Gun it to 88...
