I've been working with ayahuasca and analogues (particularly MHRB/Rue) for some time, and I've had some intense experiences- particularly with mimosa- but I find myself wondering what the parameters of the experience are. How high can you dose before you reach a point of diminishing returns (or simply purging too soon)? Or IS there such a point?

Has anyone worked with especially strong doses of aya or mimosa? If so, what were your perceptions? Did it seem like there was an upper limit, or could it have become stronger and stronger, far beyond the point where you could process it at all?

There is the upper limit of an overdose Laughing But concerning the aspect of trip intensity I would also like to know if there is a "limit".What I've read so far from people that have taken doses considered "above the upper limit" indicates that after a certain point, the whole experience becomes nightmarish.Has anyone had any pleasant experiences of the sort?
The character Indoril_Nerevar is an artistic work of fiction, and thus all his claims and ideas are works of falsehood and fiction and should be treated likewise. There is no relation between Indoril_Nerevar and any real living or dead person, and any existing similarity or seeming relation is purerly coincidental.

well let me know if you reach it...cus I never reached that glass ceiling yet, and not sure I want to..

What are your intentions going THAT deep? You better know what you are doing if you want to fly like that.

I'm not suggesting that it's my intention to dose that high, only that I'm curious to know if anyone has, and if so, what sorts of experiences they have had.

I've noticed, for instance, that certain effects only come out if you meet a certain minimum dose level; low doses simply don't DO the same things higher doses do. I've had the sense, vaguely, that there are plateaux above those I have experienced where further changes to the 'structure' of the trip might take place. I don't necessarily intend to visit them, but as I'm sure you're aware, these substances tend to activate and heighten one's curiosity, and if anyone HAS explored those heights and returned to tell the tale, I'd love to hear it.
