so swim did a praliminary batch of 480g mhrb powder
she was very pleased to get a bit over 2 grams of angelic white crystals
it was choped. and dryed all day.
the naptha that wa spoured thu the filter was left to evap.
the next mor she found a nit of tellow oily crystal crawling on the baking pan
but in several areas this yellow crystal was encompased or sumbmerged in a yellow gel

well yellow to opeque

but the gel would not dry
so swim
scraped the slagy batch, but is still wondeing what was going on with the gel???

also it smelled horific

like salt, pepper, pickles, paint,piss,and shell fish
all sorts of shit

she said it was very powefuly smelling

the thing is

the white powder is virualy oderless. like its hard to smell when its in a bottle

i thought that was good
that probly ment all the cray ass flafory junk was loast in the filterd naptha
but she wanted to be shure

her spice is yet t be tested

any input on this weird olfactory sittuation

swim has had spice that has had very little to almost no smell before

but this stuff takes the cake.

i seem to also recal sme one on here producing crystals that where inpotent and smelled like "flowers"

SWIM notices his spice smells like new shoes or shoe polish.

you should take that yellow gel stuff and put some hot naphtha to it...maybe like 30ml or so...and get as much as you can absorbed into it..then put it in a little jar..and throw in the freezer..you should get some nice xtals from it

The yellow goop is probably oils and such, or maybe the smallest tad of basic solution got into your naphtha...basified mimosa always smelled like fish oil to me.

Either way, jorkest has the right plan of action for such things.

Ok, but you kinda just wasted your first pull.

Recrystalization takes only 5-10 minutes and is very simple. Hot naphtha and spice is all that is needed.

Yellow impurities are probably going to be in alot of your extractions, so my suggestion is to either accept them or learn how to remove them.

I might have been the poster of inactive flower crystals. Happened after too many recrystalization on a batch of "mimosa" that was tan...probably was not really mimosa hostilis bark.

she scraped the yellow cus she needed to work with the pam

and it was just too funky
