I know at least some of my fellow Nexians are familiar with The Course, however if you haven't this book intro would be a great way to become interested in or acquainted with ACIM. A Course In Miracles has helped me greatly in my spiritual quest, take it with an open mind and a grain of salt as with anything. Also I'd love to hear from anyone familiar with or interested in the book.The Universe Is A Dream

I know I haven't read the whole book (only the free preview)...

But I find kind of awkward to be told by someone that "only illusions require beliefs" before that person starts describing his beliefs.

I'm curious, though, what is ACIM?

ACIM is A Course In Miracles. It's similar to Buddhist philosophy, that this entire reality is a dream, to believe it is to believe an illusion. It's out there but it makes sense when you read it for a while.
