I never liked that phrase "tripping balls". I've tripped mayans, elves, aliens and such. I've tripped gods, deamons, fractals and sacred geometries. Ive tripped Lovecraftian Primordial Forgotten Gawds, Archons, Grigori and Illuminati O my!. Candyland, Toon-Town, Elf-Land, Lemuria, and more. Why would I ever want my trip to predominately feature testicles?


That phrase popped up here a couple times this past week, so I'm commenting on it is all. No offense intended. Sure, it began as "tripping my balls off" and that was fine. Then it got shortened to "tripping balls". The first guy who ever used that abreviation did us all a disservice, sais I.

There was an episode of south park where Kyles little canadian step-brother Ike got into drugs and in one seen he was like "dude...I'm trippin balls....totally trippin....balls". I hoped that Ike had killed it, but alas, the phrase shall live on.

..see... I have always liked that term. I started taking lsd in 1993 or 4 and have plenty of great memories of that time. Hearing the phrase now, just reminds me of good times.

I can't say I hate the term, but it is a bit overused. Where I come from "tripping face" is used quite often, as in "Tripping my face off". I've come to use the term "tripping faceballs" every now and then, in reference to my eyes, and just because it sounds odd.

Honestly the way I see it is each to their own. call a drug what you want, refer to the use of it however you want. Just be smart, be safe, and be well informed when using them.
