Hello members. Great to be here. Wanted some info on a bulk extraction.

SWIM had success using 1KG mimosa root bark powder using 2 large paint buckets but wanted info on 2KG.

Was going to use a large 44 qt. steel pot. Automatic stirrer, and warming tray. Shown here

My question is should I use the hot plate only during the pulls..or will keeping it on during the base soak speed up the break down of the root bark?

I plan to use about 30 L base solution. 1 g lye for every 1 g bark.

Also plan on using this siphon because I think it will be too heavy to pour off the naptha.

I dunno, I dont think bulk extractions THAT big really have any place being discussed here. At the very least it raises eyebrows..noone needs to extract 2 kilos of mimosa..you cant really avoid the obvious reality that this sort of thing just screams "distribution" even if that is not your intention.

All of the extraction talk here is for extractions geared towards personal use only. 2kg extractions is sort of pushing that limit IMO.

I am locking this thread for the moment. I hope you can understand why I am making this decision. If other mods disagree I will reopen the thread.

It is important to understand that large scale extractions are frowned upon at the the DMT-Nexus. The reasons for that are:

The primary users of large scale extractions are drugs dealers, something we loath.

Having large amounts of a schedule 1 substance in your possession is NOT a good thing if you get caught. You will not only be prosecuted for the schedule 1 substance but also for the intent of distribution.

Many small scale extractions will get you acquainted with the extraction procedure.

Many small scale extractions will make you understand the workings beind each step of the extraction.

Many small scale extractions will not be a big loss if the extraction fails.

Many small scale extractions will let you finetune your process.
