The energy channels DMT opens up coupled with the power of a stimulant is simply awesome.
I've experienced perception opening up to astounding energies and beings, present in 'eyes open, everyday space'.

Also,
After going into a trance and plainly staring at a piece of graffiti on a brick wall for 7 hours (it was like a meditation, nothing was occurring but I was compelled to continue) suddenly, when i snapped out of it- it appeared as if a piece of graffiti was floating in mid air about 7 feet away from the wall.

It was incredible to behold.

I'm not really a fan of stimulants myself. For me, DMT is super powerful all by itself, and I'd rather take something that can slow it down, which is why I much prefer ayahuasca to the smoking method. To each their own.

Was the floating graffiti worth the seven hours of staring at a wall?

Shamasi,
I too am interested in ingesting and having a "longer time" (haha time is so relative) to stay in 'the experience'.
Not suggesting stimulants are the best way,, but it is noteworthy.

When i "meditate", its marvelous to see how awareness when 'focused without intent' creates experiences and perceptions.
As for whether the 7 hours of staring was worth it, yes but it happened spontaneously and isn't something I'd try to duplicate.
Sometimes watching my mind fold/unfold visual information feels like epic quantum moments of revelation. Thats why the open eye experiences for me are so amazing.
Although at a high enough dose, i will completely leave the body and become one with the hyperspace.

I've done loads of similar meditations, where I'll focus on certain objects or aspects of my surroundings, and I try to remove my expectations and personal filters. I just let the stick, rock, or whatever it may be reveal parts of itself that I'm usually not aware of, sometimes with some amazing results, like connecting to and sort of merging consciousness with a tree, the ground, etc. My psychedelic experiences have definitely made me better at being open and imaginative with these "meditations".

You're right about time being relative once you're in hyperspace. You can experience lifetimes in a matter of minutes. But the (slightly)slower blast-off of ayahuasca lets me integrate each level of intensity more fully as it's happening, and the slower come-down allows me more time to think about every aspect and remember the whole experience much more clearly.
