I think it´s one of those two anyway...the other republicans are all very unlikely presidential candidates. I don´t even know if that gingrich clown is still in the race even. Or that perry guy. But most of those GOP candidates aren´t less silly than bachman or the pizza guy. So if one of them would win the republican candidature, obama could already open a big bottle of moet et chandon and toast for his next term in the white house.
So who´s gonna win? (and why would anybody even wánt that job?)

Obama. By the luckiest, least-deserved margin in US electoral history. Status quo and tiny American flags for all! Sometimes I believe that this less material life is our truer life, and that our vain presence on the terraqueous globe is itself the secondary or merely virtual phenomenon.

Ron Paul has actually been schooling those idiots in the GOP debates, I just wish people would give him a chance, as far as him actually making it as the republican nominee, I'm hopeful. If he could make it that far I actually see him giving Obama a run for his money. As far as the rest of those clowns I can agree with you. Toadfreak!

Regardless of who's president the same people will "win"...big business, corporate interests, etc. The two-party system is little more than Corporate Candidate A vs. Corporate Candidate B. Those shouting about Corporate Candidate Q seem to have lost sight of this...but I suppose appealing rhetoric is appealing for a reason. I'd kind of like to see Paul win just so his fanbase can see exactly what the fallout of a Paul presidency is (plus we're entirely screwed regardless of who the president is)...I think I'd find it amusing in a sick, psychopathic glee kind of way. ^this is why I think voting with the expectation of change is foolish and just being conscious of who you support with the products you buy is more important at the moment. If you want to go farther than that, protest and make some noise. Voting is just a stupid game. Long live the unwoke.

The campaign ads as well as irate citizens will cause a disruption of the process. Obama will take office claiming he stopped elections for a military reason. We will attain curfews to keep riots and anti govt conspirators from mobilizing. The economy will drop and like Russia money wont matter as things become rationed: Military will police the nation as it gets through these troubled times. This will spur on our second civil war. There will be no real election I am looking at the situation and the politicians will probably call a collapse from competing with each other and put a lot of this stuff out to the public. A guy who isnt elected yet doesn't have to hide these events and can run using them against the opponent. Once people see this and cant pretend it isn't happening things will collapse overnight. We have already seen the mob mentality play out where some avg story explodes overnight. Technology gives us the power to change things fast for good or ill. There will not be a america in 2013 there will be no internet nor will there be a nexus. In next year regardless of current status your lifestyle will dramatically change. If you don't sin, Jesus died for nothing.

Uh, yeah... If Ron Paul actually won the presidency (which he NEVER, EVER, EVER could, other than in the little boy fantasies of a deluded fan base of simpletons...) methinks the planet would spontaneously explode.
Mitt Romney is the only one with the support and resources to mount a credible opposition, but in the end it will be Obama - and while he's been a disappointment thus far, my hope is that in a 2nd term he will find himself with nothing to lose and actually deliver on some of the changes he promised us all up front.

Whoever the next president may be, I assure you he or she will have little, if any, direct effect on me. Us cool kids are too busy having fun to pay attention to politicians and their silly concerns. Plus, we're secretly creating the future under the radar and under their big, fat, corporately-funded noses. Unplug the television and it's an entirely different world out there. That being said, I think both Obama and Ron Paul have good intentions for the American people, but our system is so fucked up that getting anything done is extremely difficult, try as they might. And I agree with what Jamie said. "I have great faith in fools; self-confidence my friends call it."

I´m surprised that no-one thinks mr romney is gonna win. Obama did not live up to most of his promisses and the economy still seems to be in a bad shape.
I would never vote republican myself, if i where an american. But considering obama´s 'achievements' like in the gulf of mexico and such, wouldn´t you expect romney to win?

I'm Voting Green Party like always, I think Romney has a fighting chance. But like stated before, as long as we are dictated by the two party system, we all lose. Remember, if the women dont find you handsome.....they might as well find you handy.

I'm surprised how some of you actually think it matters AT ALL who gets elected, and that this could bring about "change" and not more of the same (or that the votes even determine the outcome in the first place) SnozzleBerry wrote:Regardless of who's president the same people will "win"...big business, corporate interests, etc.

i agree "i think the puppet on the right shares my beliefs" "i think the puppet on the left is more to my liking".."oh $h!t. Theres one guy holding up both puppets!"
