First of all, Dr.Snyder is seemingly baked and stoned out of his mind and is quite the B-real look-alike.

Secondly, DMT is obviously deadly, although there's been ALOT of upsurging facts about DMT lately and alot contributed from the movie "The spirit Molecule" about its natural occurrence and harmless effects.

Nevertheless the media always knows the jack about these things when they are the ones that should be the informed sources.

This is why I strongly doubt that evolution is a fact, if it was then people should know better by EVOLVING, not degenerating.

I'm quite mad at this, two "hardheads" making the news, it's the SECOND most terrible "overdose" story EVER since the "cop overdoses on weed", because by then people knew that it wasn't possible and just thought of it as funny and moronic.

So let me get this straight, Evisceratechuck: based on that video you actually think that DMT is deadly? What they said is that the kid thought he was dying, so he freaked out and called for help. It's pretty common knowledge that DMT can make you feel like you're dying. It pops up in experience reports from time to time and anywhere reliable you look for effects will include "feelings of death/dying" in some form. This kid didn't almost die. He just freaked out. This thread is almost as ridiculous as the media. If DMT is so obviously deadly, how come we don't have any cases of anyone actually dying from it? Could it be because all the people who thought they were dying was all in their heads?

Secondly, I don't think this is really a place to get into debating evolution other than to say that these things aren't likely to be in black and white (there's not gonna be either evolution or not evolution). We know evolution can and does have a hand in things (look up the finches in the gallapogos [sp?] islands). Furthermore, what basis do you have for degeneration in the first place?

A thought - you should learn the correct definition of "evolution" so that you do not misapply it to indicate a directional or teleological progression. Evolution is without direction and whether it moves "forwards" or "backwards" it is still evolution.

This is why the term devolution is nonsensical...and why reading your post makes me sad...there's no need to believe or doubt in evolution, it's an observable phenomenon that has been observed and recorded in numerous species much shorter-lived than humans (check out The Beak of the Finch) as well as the archaeological records of numerous other species, including humans. To "doubt that evolution is a fact" strikes me as doubting that gravity is a fact...you can doubt all you want, but you're still anchored firmly to the Earth as it orbits the Sun...

My point being was that this, if something shows how ignorant people can choose to be. You'd assume that a tad research from the media would be in order before releasing such fabricated information publicly.

Wow, I know I'm low income so if I have to go to the ER it's the County one and probably a relatively young resident or intern who will first triage me. I'll take it! That or a gun to the head! The doc in this video had my jaw on the floor. I'm nobody, but even I know the pituitary is the master gland. The pineal regulates a lot of stuff, mainly with melatonin, but when I had Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (a thyroid problem) I was prescribed a drug that changed the function of my pituitary - the master gland.

So someone comes in high, freaked out saying "I'm dying" and that's it, it's a total actual near death situation? Did this doc even check vitals or did he just go right to google to see where he could "buy" DMT?

Some of the disinformation that´s out there is quite hilarious. I once read on a site that DMT is available in as a powder as well as in pills and that people who´re taking them can get serious liver and kidney problems. That same site also warned about health risks if you´d take several grams of DMT at once.
