Greetings Nexeteers,

So I'm a kava afficionado, and I'm also attempting to work my into a first breakthrough, and the idea has occured to me a few times that a few tablespoons of Kava might help to smooth out and get past the pre- spice jitters.

I just did a search of previous topics posted on Kava here, and what do you know, I see for the first time that Kava has MAOI properties as well. I'm guessing they're not full inhibition, but to me that would seem to be killing two birds with one stone. It is in fact THE plan to hopefully get me where I'm going (having trouble taking a second toke once the effects of the first one start coming on.
Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool
So the question is, since it would seem to be a natural fit why have I heard no anecdotal evidence of anyone trying this ? Has anyone here done so, and if so, any recommendations
for making this as smooth an experience as possible?

Also, are the MAOI properties of Kava significant enough to effect the way the spice is handled in the body?

I made a cup of kava kava and then enjoyed quite a bit of insufflated spice recently. It was an amazingly calm meditative synergy, and a very interesting activity to partake in half-way to hyperspace. That is all I can report at this time.

The title reads like a jeopardy category.

and while this (my post here, not the op)is indeed a lame post... it still made me a little happy to chime in worthlessly.

thank you for indulging me.

That sounds like just the thing!

I did a little further digging and found that Kava exhibits MAO-B type action, and is an RIMA.
There doesn't seem to be much collected wisdom on using Kava to potentiate DMT so I will definitely report back here the results of any bio-assay for posterity and for the sake of scienceVery happy Very happy Very happy
