Hello everyone! Firstly, a little introduction to myself. I'd say that I was first exposed to DMT almost 2 years ago. I had a discussion with a friend of mine in high school who happened to be into psionics, telekinesis, OBE's, lucid dreaming, etc. when he mentioned DMT. At that time, I wasn't into drugs. I've never smoked a cigarette, never drank alcohol, never smoked weed, nothing....with the exception of caffeine of course . Anyways, after this conversation, I went home, searched up DMT online (Google, YouTube, etc.) and was amazed. I knew this was one of those things I HAD TO TRY! Fast-forward to the leg end of the summer of 2011 and I had already extracted DMT and tried it multiple times. Needless to say, I was hooked. At one point, I had been smoking DMT twice a week or so. There was a point where I feared I used too much too frequently. I didn't feel disconnected from reality or lacking in any cognitive function in anyway. I was just worried that I may have been psychologically addicted to DMT somehow. This is when I stopped extracting. What got me to extract and smoke some more was the fact that every time I read an experience report of someone's DMT experience, I'd be astonished at how radically different the experience was from all of mine. With the exception of a couple of experiences, I've never had what I would call a "mystical experience"....which seems to be the main experience-type for DMT. All my experiences were highly kaleidoscopic in nature and completely lacking of meaning and mysticism. I've never met an entity despite my many voyages into the DMT Hyperspace. I've never been able to make out a room or have an experience in which there was a situation and I learned something because of it. All in all, 99% of my experiences have been nothing but psychedelic "trips" rather than mystical journeys or voyages. One might question the purity of my DMT. Admittedly, my first extraction resulted in a yellowish hue of powder. When I realized that there was such a thing as "recrystallization", I began to do just that and I ended up with 98% pure white DMT....just a notch or two below pure sugar white DMT. However, my experiences were still of the same nature. This frustrated me because I had wanted to try DMT for the "mystical nature" of the experiences to begin with and all I got were psychedelic kaleidoscopes and overwhelming geometry. I'd be exaggerating if I didn't say that there was that rare experience that had a hint of mysticism in it....therefore, further piquing my curiosity. But overall, the experiences were of the same nature. When some of my friends tried it, their experiences weren't of that nature at all. Two of my friends have met entities multiple times and had meaningful experiences. But not me....WHY?! I guess the point of this topic is if anyone has experienced the same thing. Have you noticed any radical change in the "type" of experiences after cessation of DMT? Have you noticed a way of inducing or increasing the chances of a mystical experience? I'd like to know all of your opinions on this....it's been the one and only question I've had on my mind since I first tried DMT. NOTE: It's been 3 months since my last voyage. I had accidentally smoked DMT Resin and I had THE MOST POWERFUL and TERRIFYING experiences of my life. I endured weeks of depression and heavy dissociative mindsets. I was living alone and I didn't have many friends around to comfort me at all. Fortunately, I was able to fight it all with sheer mental willpower. Now, I'm planning my next voyage into the DMT Hyperspace once again....can't wait!

Hello XeR0, welcome to the Nexus, now your here you will never want to leave i think the way to get past the colour is to simply SMOALK MOAR ok maybe not. I think that the breadth of experience is endless, if you stick with it im sure the experience you seek will come. I, like you, saw no entities for the first few months of my Spice exploration, just crazy colours and scenes, then one day i noticed a shadow person and from then on i have seen all kinds of different beings. If you're looking for a mystic experience, smoking DMT on harmalas or LSD will help. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein

That's interesting. My friend with whom I had my first DMT experience also kept seeing a shadow figure in the distance a couple of times. Even after cessation of DMT, he still had 2 dreams of this entity. He's been begging me since then to extract some more so that he can further decipher the entity's origin and purpose. 3rdI wrote:XeR0 wrote:. In retrospect, I simply wasn't prepared for such a powerful experience. If you watched a video of the experience, it wasn't terrifying at all. The only thing terrifying about it was it's sheer power and lack of life. It was very mechanical and almost lifeless like math equations and ultra-psychedelic coding of the Universe. Regardless, I'm completely normal, grateful, and quite proud that I recovered all on my own.

Indeed, I'll be sure to try it when the time is right. Anyways to get back on topic, what other types of experiences are there?

What other types of experiences? I cant say i'm too experienced but from what I gather there is an unlimited variety of experiences with no single one being the same.
From my experience they can be friendly, kind, aggressive, scary, erotic, pretty much anything. There can be the idea of entities, or you could meet them, they can communicate, or stay silent. You can also find your self experiencing nothing, visuals with no connection, no entities, no understanding.
If you can imagine an potential type of experience, then you can be sure someone has had it.

The experience comes in all shapes and sizes with seemingly infinite variation. Even if you manage to land in an identical place twice, there's no guarantee it will even "behave" the same way on both occasions. The experiences range from symmetrical kaleidoscopes to scenes in any number of places in a variety of themes to experiencing the consciousness of other animals/entities/humans to the asymmetrical bizarre and wacky to form without content and everywhere in between including combinations and permutations of the above. Some themes I've experienced include cosmic, carnival, jungle, Egyptian, tribal, Indian, oriental, elfin, white light, mechanical, computeristic, alien, children/infant, mansions, beehives, sacred spaces of all sorts, and more I'm sure that are either slipping my mind or that defy typical, overly simplified categories. What may I ask are you smoking it out of, with what kind of lighter, and what's the typical dose size as well as the dose for that trip was a bit hard to swallow? "Science without religion is lame. Try some combinations if freebase alone isn't doing the trick. LSD + DMT Shrooms + DMT Ayahuasca Ayahuasca + DMT Harmalas + DMT Make CHANGA!!! There's plenty of thing you can do to, erm..so to say "spice" up your voyages

If you're referring to my last DMT breakthrough that I was terrified of, it wasn't just DMT. It was also a "truckload" of DMT resin buildup inside a VaporGenie. To make the long story short, I inadvertently smoked 60mg of pure DMT along with an unknown (but very large) amount of DMT resin that had remained in the VG. Should've followed the instructions and cleaned it. It's clean now I also used a regular butane lighter that doesn't need to be struck with flint (those one-press piezoelectric lighters).

You were using DMT twice a week and you felt it was too much? Man I need to really get away from DMT then because there has been times where I've used it 5-8 times in one day, then take a day or two break and then repeat. Never have had any adverse effects except an increase in insomnia but I was already an insomniac beforehand (and an increase in the clarity of my dreams)... cannabis helped me a lot with the insomnia though. I'm at ~ 140 or 160 trips with about 30-40 being FULL breakthroughs w/ being terrified an element of those trip but I always come out laughing and crying like a baby... As far as experiences there is just NO telling with DMT and that's why I love it. From extreme body warmth and soft visuals to an electric teleportation into the realm of a million eyes, all staring at you, soul penetrations and probing jellyfish swimming through your aura. Insanity is the norm in hyperspace... I've seen some truly terrifying things in hyperspace but the warmth is ALWAYS present.. like a reminder... a bungee cord or better yet a tether connected to your space suit... you can explore as far as you dare to explore but it's all in what you make of it.. Your mind is a LOT more powerful than you think and if you can prep your mind for hyperspace then good. Still remember there is NOTHING in this world that can truly prepare you for a powerful DMT trip... I've done it enough times to say I'm experienced but i'm respectful and I'm not some kind of extreme hard head thrill seeker.. I respect spice to the utmost... even now I get nervous pre-trip because of the random personal touch DMT has within each and every trip. 1% of reality is within our plane of existence. What we feel... what we see... what we hear... what we "think" we know... The other 99% percent of reality can only be shown to us through DMT. This 99% lies within the "Realm of the Unknowns". We can only experience FULL reality when we leave this vessel, our bodies. DMT gives us a taste of this full reality... the universal knowledge is given to us by the beings who call "hyperspace" their home. When in hyperspace there is no "self" but instead this self is replaced with pure and raw energy. ENERGY CAN NOT BE DESTROYED, ONLY TRANSFERRED OR TRANSFORMED! So when you have that "ego-death" during a breakthrough trip, don't fret, you are not being destroyed but yet..... YOU ARE BEING TRANSFORMED.
I LOVE YOU, RESPECT YOU AND I THANK YOU... Dimethyltryptamine ... for showing me the 99% of reality that I would never have experienced in everyday life.

As for your dosage, 60mg is easily an excessive dose from the GVG. I've tried it once, and it was way too much. With good vaping technique you can go pretty far with not that much. As for the DMT resin, I can relate to that. I don't clean my pipe often, and I know of times when I could tell I was melting and vaporizing the resin as I had put such little DMT in the pipe in the first place, and it was some of the furthest out I managed to get early on. The DMT condensate seems to be much more potent than freebasing it from scratch. It sort of defies logic, and don't know why it seems to work like that, but that's just the way I experience it. I didn't feel that doing DMT twice a week was too much. I was only worried that I was doing too much. Logic got in the way and said, "Isn't twice a week too much for such a powerful substance?" But now that you say you'd do 5-8 times in one day, then I guess I shouldn't be too worried then. I'd LOVE to do as much as I want. For some reason, I feel that the spice holds the answers to some of the questions I've been asking myself for as long as I can remember. And yes, I think all of us can agree on the pre-trip jitters with DMT no matter how many experiences one has gone through. It's like flipping a cosmic coin with infinite sides. No matter how many sides you've landed on and seen, you're just as clueless as the first time you flipped it. Just a question I'd like to ask (even though it's quite off topic): Can this extraction tek work with powdered mimosa hostilis? I'm just afraid that if I do an acid boil, it'll create an emulsion that is impossible to separate the liquid from the bark material.

I guess when I get my spice ready, I'll experiment. One time, I put up CGI art with a scifi theme to it. The resulting experience was quite similar in complexity and feel. I'll experiment and see if listening to a song(s) which I relate specific "feels" and "themes" to can induce experiences of similar "feels/themes". Same goes for pictures. However, I think the main target is mindset. Can a specific mindset induce a specific experience type? And what happens when one's mindset is simply open for ANY resulting experience? How far out is the resulting experience on a scale of 1-10? I'll obviously post some of the results of my experiments.

@XeR0 and DMT777 I'm doing the Q21Q21 tek for the pure white fluff ... it's flawless if followed to the T. I'm still doing pulls right now so expect an extraction report within a week or two. I can't suggest Q21Q21 tek enough... for some pure white spice and it's so easy... like "easy bake oven" easy. When I first started with DMT I felt the same way XeR0 and DMT777... I would only do it in the middle of the week once and then once during the weekend. After some continual use and seeing no ill effects I decided to increase my usage. As far as not getting visuals and breakthroughs, well I wont lie, I did go through a short period of time of really soft visuals and just really good body warmth. Even though there is no tolerance build up with DMT I feel a little in between time to clear the mind and soak in what you have experienced, it really helps with bringing that freshness back on the next trip... and I usually get visuals after a nice little break. Another thing that helps is upping the dosage slightly... this may not apply to newcomers or someone that is not fully ready for a strong breakthrough trip...also full isolation helps a lot. No light, no music, no sounds, no anything... just you, your smoking apparatus, and the spirit molecule and 9/10 it's gonna be a breakthrough. @Xer0... that's perfect analogy when you said It's like flipping a cosmic coin with infinite sides... really like that saying man And yes DMT does hold a lot of answers but it's so complex... the answers it gives you may not be the answer that you are looking for but you have to figure out how that answer will answer your questions( if that makes any sense ) Just take all what you can and if you can incorporate it in reality then do so... some of the stuff DMT shows you just wont help you in this life/plane of existence and so I've learned to accept that. 1% of reality is within our plane of existence. Indeed. This is the first tek I've used to extract my spice. It hasn't failed me once. However, there is a member on this forum (CaptainFuture, I believe) who did an experiment testing the yields of the different teks. He concluded that the A/B extraction had much higher yields than STB extraction and Q21's vinegar/lime tek. I know NaOH isn't food safe at all but I trust my skills as a chemist to be able to handle such powerful compounds. I think I'm going to stick with the DMT Handbook's A/B extraction with the tweaks of CaptainFuture's experiments. I might try Lazyman's tek but according to the experiments, STB teks have a more yellowish and low yield (compared to A/B's 0.6-0.8% yields). I beg to differ. A lot of people claimed to have had drastic changes to their lifestyles simply because of DMT. And I won't lie, but I've learned a couple of things about the nature of spacetime and light and how light affects the travels of extradimensional beings. It seems, that extradimensional beings usually don't like light because light is to extradimensional beings as rain/snow is to airplanes: a tough thing to fly through. Nonetheless, since it is the infinite-sided cosmic coin that we're flipping when we smoke DMT, it's impossible to say that it isn't possible to get an answer that has a direct influence on some of life's matters. This report on erowid is really interesting and it displays this point....madd tired...gonna catch some zzz's for now
