Wow. Amazing setup.
I was a bit skeptical at the beginning of the vid as aquaponics has a history of doomed swimming pool conversions (most systems need about twice as much grow bed volume as fish tank volume; for the average pool that equates to grow beds larger than the ground space of your house), but this almost-empty setup is very clever.
I wouldn't want to have to maintain it and there are much easier setups, but there's certainly no better use for a backyard pool than this.
Sometimes I believe that this less material life is our truer life, and that our vain presence on the terraqueous globe is itself the secondary or merely virtual phenomenon.
