It seems like it's hard to trip these days, at least harder than usual in what seems like a time specific way. I feel like with where the world is at "vibrationally", and with all of the extra subconscious noise being expelled right now on account of more people waking up, it's making it hard to go into deep space. It's like there are more frequent and intense waves coming at me while I'm trying to sail in what use to be more steady waters.

Anyways, this is what I've been noticing and maybe it just has to do with my own shit. Has anyone else found this to be the case in their recent trips?

I trip much less frequently than I used to, but I think that's only because I have much less time to trip. Oh: And I'm poor and don't want to use my last bit of DMT just yet.
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.

No.

There is never a moment of perfection.

There is only the attempt at it being so.

nope, well am not journeying as much anymore. More to do with having some great experiences and plain out not needing to go back there so much. I would say its all in your head.

I'm not sure I agree with you on this one. The act of attempt itself has an inherent nature of being imperfect: you have to ATTEMPT it in order for it to happen, which goes agains the idea of perfection. This brings me to my point, and that there is no perfection, because perfection is just an idea, and therefore is something which doesn't exist, as it is just a language construct.

@fractorious: psychs alter the way YOU perceive. I believe that says everything. This is not to be taken as dismissive, I'm only suggesting that if you feel some strange changes, you'd also feel them while totally sober. I myself have been experiencing strange changes, too, but they're independent from the psychedelic experience. Psychs opened my awareness, that's true, but they're not a requirement themselves for those changes to be felt.
The truth...lies within.

I think it's just a rockier experience than you'd romanticize it to be. It also sounds like you're not coping well with your perceived "end times" which may be getting in your own way.

I personally think it has nothing to do with the current state the world is in but way more how your internal 'calibration' towards the world is. Today's world is much more vibrant than it was 30 or 40 years ago. We have internet, news travels faster than the shockwave of an earthquake these days, we can get instantly in touch with everyone at almost any time. This means that our minds are way more occupied than they used to be and therefore we find it more difficult to find peace in the most where we need them the most, like when we're tripping.

I think the best prescription against that would be more meditation and taking more time off from all the technological distractions the world offers us. Today's world is much more chaotic than older times. Not because there is happening more in the world, but because the flow of information has exploded.
The spice extends life.
The spice expands consciousness.
The spice is vital to space travel.

Of course set and setting are important and maybe are part of this vibration.

But theres something else I noticed. I've kind of grown up and have all these responsibilities. Its like there's NO TIME anymore to trip like there used to be. Any time was a good time when I was a kid. But now that I have a kid almost no time is a good time.

The world is not always the same place. I think everyone should not be so quick to explain away and ignore this idea. It is certainly at least possible that there is a different vibe emanating from hyperspace these days.

EuphoricHavoc, I have a 1 year old little girl, i get to do my thing pletny still, although with slightly less frequency, but this does not bother me. I think its just about making a time that works. Are you still with your partner? or do you have someone that can watch the kid for a night?
