SWIM has bought some Blue Lotus, Calea and Pau D'Arco bark to make some enhanced leaf. The first thing he noticed is that the Blue Lotus and Calea look very "dusty", ie alot of it has been crushed down to dust, possibly in transit. Is this a problem when making enhanced leaf?

Also he has tried smoking the Blue Lotus and the Pau D'Arco just to see what they are like and both of them taste horrible, the Pau D'Arco was pretty much unsmokable, like smoking wood. This doesn't seem right. How, once it has been enhanced with DMT is it going to be a pleasant smoke?

Thanks

haha,

that's because you Are smoking wood!

I would never advise anybody to smoke pau darco. This is an old thing that some people did but I dont think people should be doing it at all.

It's fine to use powdered herbs. You can also use things like passionflower and mullein. I'd definitely skip the darco though. I'm not a fan of blue lotus either.

Caapi leaves + mullein is pretty smooth. Peace.

Fair enough, makes a decent cup of tea though.

From the Changa guide on the Changa forum -

"Pau D'Arco: Rich and exuberant meadows of pleasure"

"Personally, Pau D'Arco does it for me but Blue Lotus, Calea and Passion Flower are also very good. "

I bought the other two to make "Electric sheep" and then saw the above and thought Pau D'Arco sounded good too Smile

I would like to get my hands on some Caapi leaves but I can't find them anywhere. I can find vine though, is this any good for making enhanced leaf?

Check the supplier section of the forum for vendors.
Also a quick google search ought to yield some results, they aren't hard to find.
You don't want to use vine, you want the leaves.

I still to this day have no idea why people smoke pau d'arco.
