A (should be) dead concept on various illegal substance discussiong boards that relies on some twisted law interpration, that you have not commited a crime if you mask the admission/confession of the crime through mythical creatures (My unicorn took LSD), dreams (In my dreams I extracted DMT), other people (My friend from school Freddie snorted some cocaine) and acronyms like SWIM (Someone Who Isn't Me). I have never heard of a law case involving "SWIM" but I'm guessing if they trace your IP or got a hold of your computer, you won't get away with "Em, like stated in the mentioned post, my dog wrote that". Example of that versus the Nexus policy, "SWIM bought a bag of dro" vs. "No selling/buying talk" Got GVG ? Mhm. Got DMT ? A word that makes one's post unpleasant to read. I think police or anyone interested in tracing you as a poster don't have even the legal rights to do that, I mean isn't it illegal(at least in most countries) to be tracing a person on the web without a very good reason(such as looking for a bomber)? And even if they would, and you would be breaking the law, SWIMming will most likely change nothing.

I doubt that as there are more and more people using illegal substances. And in the end the drug laws were made only for the financial benefit of the people behind politics(cocaine and heroin trade etc, even hemp in the US is still illegal to grow, simpy because it has too much potential for use as diesel, fabric, food etc.) If the laws would have been made to avoid citizens from harming themselves, alcohol would be first drug to be illegal. Government telling you what you can take in your body will become past history someday, simply because it's f'd up.

Something that should be outdated yes.. tele shares my sentiments. I cannot stand reading a post littered with swim links.. I read a thread a while back asking users to discontinue using this acronym as it put uncessesary load on the servers or something if I remember correctly.. All posts by great_blue are fictitious in nature and for entertainment purposes only. In no way does the author condone or support illegal activity in any way shape or form, anytime or anywhere. If it's illegal, don't do it!
