In a one quart mason jar:

600ml DH2O
50g MHRB powder
50g Lye
75ml Naptha

Second pull from six jars:

2 grams out of 50g of MHRB ? It does not sound right. 4% yield would be like miracle here Smile

are you sure your scale is working properly ?



Six jars x 50G MHRB for a total of 300G MHRB. Yields have been about 1.4% in total.

This will cover all 2012 travels.

So your yield is 4.2g in total not 2g right ? cos 2g out of 300g is not 1.4%

The photo shows the 2G second pull. The total weight of all pulls is not yet known.

Typical yield for this technique with this bark has been ~1.4%, so 4.2G total would be a good estimate.
