In my only LSD experience I took one hit. I don't know how much was in this hit. result: life changing. During the trip I thought I had brought up a mental disorder and that I woke up from life's dream. I understand that waking up from ordinary reality is a very very common fact in an LSD trip, however it is the low dose and the conclusion that I had a mental disorder that is taking a toll on my well being.

After this, the door was never closed. Although time can sway the door back and forth, I am always reminded of the connections I made through random occurrences in day to day life. Though this experience was terrifying, it has completely helped me change my perceptions on life for the better.

Before this trip I had a lot of mushroom experiences but that was nothing like this... instead of crazy very consciously confusing thought patterns from mushrooms, the LSD was something of a very similar but at the same time of a completely different nature. It was as if I now finally saw everything so clearly and since I saw things so clearly the thought of having a mental disorder spiralled me out of control.

I want to have another LSD trip so badly but I am just scared that it could take a turn for the worse. I think that we have all noticed how the mind is a very easy thing to change through the use of these substances.

The reason I want to do this again is because I want to expand my mind into greater creativity and perhaps some light shed on my first LSD trip. It has never stopped bothering me.

Do you guys think a very low dose (1/4 hit) could put me into this state of mind with out spiralling me out of control. I know a lot of this was just the fact that I could not let go of the life before the LSD. Perhaps seeing first hand the change that was occurring in my head was what terrified me? There are so many other things that this trip made me see.

Maybe a better question is, how have you guys gone about trying to understand a difficult first trip? It has been over a year, and although I know I will never be the person I was before, and that I am happy of my change and as a person right now, I am still having trouble knowing who I have become.

You have to integrate your insights with your personal life and this consensus reality. It's the only way to progress and live. I've had a couple harrowing trips, including one in which I believed I activated some latent mental illness. My advice: don't delve into things too much; if you feel sane after the trip, then you're most likely fine. Psychedelics give you a plurality of perspectives, so it's natural that you won't see things in the same fashion as you did before.
"'Most men will not swιm before they are able to.' Is not that witty? Naturally, they won't swιm! They are born for the solid earth, not for the water. And naturally they won't think. They are made for life, not for thought. Yes, and he who thinks, what's more, he who makes thought his business, he may go far in it, but he has bartered the solid earth for the water all the same, and one day he will drown."

I would say try half for your next time. Im not sure you would even feel much at 1/4, but its up to you of course. Go somewhere serene and peaceful, the in the morning i would say, and make sure you are comfortable (temp, clothes). I think a half will allow you to think in the way lsd does, but not have your mind boggled, or be worried throughout. Its up to you what you want to get out if it, and if you go into it excited and positive, i think you will find some great things out about yourself.

IMO i think taking half is just like a body high, i would stick with one or maybe even two, two for me is what i need to induce visuals.

During an LSD sometimes if you let something get at you, it will only take over and make you more scared of it. I have had terrifying experiences, but its something that you have to get past, i use to think the same way, if i take it again, will the same thing happen again? no it wont not unless your thinking about.

Two important thing when using any substance like this, Set and Setting, Stay positive always, going into the trip, and leaving it, make sure you are in a good setting with a close friend, not preferred with a lot of people.

Psychedelics is a great cleanser, it cleans out the body, gives you a new vision of life, your new perception you are seeing of the world is the world, your barriers are slowly being dissolved away.

Good luck on your next trip i believe it will be great and you will be overwhelmed with positive energy and love, Yes this will all happen, safe journeys. Smile

The best advice I can give you is to take your and don't be in any rush to do it again. Think about your experiences from last time and what they might mean.

WRITING your thoughts and feelings down can also be very beneficial. It gives you an opportunity to visually access your situation and to objectify it.

My cat has done LSD many times and even went through a period of a few months doing it 2-3 times a week which is a lot for LSD. It was too much and almost became more of a recreational thing than a spiritual exploration like it was to start. Hes almost certain that due to the shift in mind set is the reason a series of bad trips resulted. Don't do this. prepare for everything mentally/physically/emotionally etc. and especially with the instability that has been created in your life from your last experience its best to wait.

kind regards

I take lsd very regularly and have been fortunate to never have had a bad experience or even been on the brink one. I feel the best way to approach your next trip when you are ready is to control your environment as much as possible before hand. be comfortable, be around friends if you want to and relax. Sometimes the lsd will give you energy and sometimes it will chill out. it's what you bring to it.

In my experience, it's way easy to control the trip than it is on mushrooms (which can be overpowering, both mentally and physically).

Although I did have an interesting experience where someone sold us a vile of "acid" and it turned out to be 2C-E. Although the trip was amazing, I dosed like it was acid (at least 3 and up to 7 hits at a time). I had to come to grips mid-trip that this might be the one I don't come out of (think white jacket). But i was able to calm my mind and except my current situation. Using psychedelics regularly I think gives you the mind set to be able to except things that people who don't open those parts of their mind, might not be able to deal with.

Good luck on your next trip!
