okay so I had 1.5g of really nice DMT fumerates. I wanted to convert them to freebase..but I have only salted fumerates 1 time and I did some weird conversion with water, iso and sodium carb when I converted them back..I usually just salt with acetic acid which never leaves me in this situation..I just add base and water and pull with iso and that is that..

I dont have any sodium carbonate right now so I based with calcium hydroxide and mixed in some water and let it dry. Then I crushed it up and added warm iso...now the fumaric acid in the fumerates and the lime should have formed calcium fumerate I am guessing..my question is will anything other than the DMT be soluble in the iso??..I am asking becasue the solution still looks a milky sort of light yellow color with some of the fumaric acid/lime/calcium fumerates or whatever dropped out along the bottom...

I did not think of this before I converted it, I just did it thinking there would only be DMT left in the iso..it is 99% iso..
Long live the unwoke.

calcium fumarate, like calcium carbonate, would not be very soluble in coldiso; it would very likely be seen as a crystalline off-white solid in iso
