SWIM was wondering how he should go about doing Marsofold's tek with 1.5lbs of powdered material instead of 1lb. Any suggestions? Should he just do everything the same? Maybe use more lye? Any help is much appreciated.

^^Try the same amount of lye and if it turns black and the pH is high 13 or 14 its fine. If you need to add more just do it as you see fit. Slippery black is a good indication you have the right pH. Other then that just make sure your vessels are large enough to handle the volumes. As far as your solvent pulls go you may need to use a bit more non polar solvent but again it should not be a problem.
