i have looked all over the place and just want to ask which tek would be best suited to a large amount of fresh (or if it would be better, dried) desmanthus root bark. preferably i would want to evap a solvent (food safe preferably) onto some plant matter for some changa. i hear stb is the best bet for as few steps as possible. but all the teks i have seen have required large amounts (and even larger amounts considering the low dmt content of the plant material SWIM will be using) of chemicals such as lye etc. to sum up my question, what technique (if any) would be best suited to a large amount of root bark that uses as few chemicals as possible? (i'm just strapped for cash)



p.s. is a freeze precip. of naptha washed with ammonia (in a straight up a/b tek) (or anything better) really that unsafe?
