I have joined this forum to increase and share my knowledge of the molecule(spice,DMT). I would like to begin by posting my first two experiences with the drug. These occurred about a week apart, after two lighter trips in the preceding weeks. I did not "break through" however until about two weeks ago. I had been interested in DMT for about 2 years and had some experience with other psychedelics(2C-B, Mushrooms, DOC and 2CT-2) along with other substances not worth mentioning.
I would like to begin my entry into the community with my first two written trip reports of the "break-through" trips. I typed the first one up for submission to erowid, and it was written shortly(less than an hour) after the trip. My second experience was written in the same day, but after a second trip as well. I find the second trip after my break-through is not as good, and I feel a more negative vibe along with less desire to use the substance. For that reason, I have only posted my first two experiences that I feel were characteristic of the DMT trip in my mind.

TRIP 1(First breakthrough ever)
I will be smoking approximately 50-100 mG of DMT, unkown strength, but ensured by my friend A to be much stronger than the DMT I tried two times earlier with him.
Setting is in my room, alone(First solo trip) completely dark except my laptop playing music, the monitor shuts off after a minute or so anyways, and my bathroom light
on with the door locked, so I can just barely see the light. I like some light to maintain contact with the material, real world, in case my experience in the DMT realm becomes too intense.
My original plan was to use ashes on top of the DMT and a screen on the bottom to ensure proper vaporization. I would then type my experience immediately after the
trip, as the more time passes the experience becomes harder to remember, much like a dream.
Song selection is Pink Floyd, 'Shine on you Crazy Diamond Part II' on Wish You Were Here.

The original plan was to trip to the first part of this song, but the pipe was clogged and I could not get a hit,
I watched with displeasure as the wasted smoke drifited away, I eventually dumped the screen directly into the bowl
and took a hit of the remainder and resinous dmt once the pipe was unclogged. I got a mild trip to the first part of the song
but I knew this wasn't a proper dmt trip. I waited the song out and decided I needed to experience this properly.

I loaded up a second bowl approximately 20 minutes after the first. I waited till a good point in the song, and smoked the dmt directly on top of some pre-vaped weed.
I saw the dmt melting, and did everything I could to ensure a good hit. I got a huge lungful of smoke and held it in. I managed to start a second hit but as I watched the vapors and smoke pour out of the bowl of the pipe they began morphing into the subtle beginnings of a DMT trip.I soon felt the effects and realized I had enough.
I was beginning to see the dmt world creeping up on my own, my hands and arms were surrounded by a colorful energy glow which followed my every movement.
I closed my eyes, realizing that the real trip was about to begin.
It started with intense colors, like neon lights, geometric patterns in 3D(If you've ever seen the film 'Enter the Void,' it was a lot like the intense colors and black light effects used in the model city). If you have not seen this film, and are interested in dmt at all or have used it, I highly recommend watching this movie as the drug plays a central role and the director does a good job showing the visual DMT experience on screen from a first person point of view, which is maintained throughout the entire film.
After a brief period with the basic psychedelic visuals I began to feel the entheogenic effects of the drug. I felt the presence of multiple beings around me, humanoid in form but not quite the same as us. Upon thinking about it I felt a female entitity/ies
(almost maternal in some ways, and in other ways erotic and sensual, an interesting Freudian paradox). On the left side and towards the middle of my visual field I saw The Presence, some refer to as 'God' begin to appear.It started as a small sphere in the center of my visual field with many shapes and patterns inside of it.

It slowly began to grow as a large ball, the female presence and the god had their arms around me beckoning me to go deeper, I could feel their arms and see them with the 'Third eye, or mind's eye'. I was at first a bit frightened, thinking I might have taken to much and I didn't want to enter the peak, but the being/s
assured me I would be safe, and that this would be mind expanding.I realized it was exactly what I wanted, a true DMT trip was right here in front of me.
It was after this acceptance the drug began to peak,an amazing experience in itself,it makes the rush of heroin look like nothing but a cheap trick and a pathetic
human-invented drug.DMT on the other hand feels more natural and you feel in touch with thousands of your ancestors who you somehow know have all experienced this before.
Some call it 'God'(I hate to use that term now that I have experienced a proper dmt trip), others refer to it as an advanced extreterrestrial race, but whatever they/him/her are/is I saw them, all around me, felt their presence it was a positive energy, but very powerful. I sensed enormous power.
This being 'Communicated' (Again a term I don't like to use here)with me, but it was more like I realized the nature of the being(s).
In my head it projected thoughts of 'I am power, I am sex, I am love, I am energy, I am money and material goods, I am everything!' was the overall message it projected. I felt the hands of this god, it had many hands like the Hindu godess Shiva(or krishna) and many parts of colorful silhouettes of bodies fluctuating and rearranging themselves, its very difficult to describe and I have a theory on why this is.
I believe DMT projects a person into the fourth dimension(in your head or whatever, if you want to be scientific.) These entities are 4th dimensional beings who appear very distorted to us as we humans can only see/exist in 3 dimensions, a simple rotation in the 4th dimension for us seems like many parts of a body morphing before our eyes, as we can only see 3D slices of the 4D beings.
I remember seeing cubes and other 3D shapes at the beginning of the trip, but that was just eye-candy, as that faded and the peak began. I felt the knowledge that I was experiencing this 'trip/journey' to its fullest at this time.I only had tried it twice before, with mild effects compared to this.
It felt like my mind was physically opening and expanding during this trip.I also felt many feelings in my physical body, as if I was in a different place from where I was sitting. I felt wind blowing against me and felt coldness, but also a calming warmth
throughout many parts of the trip.
Its difficult to describe the trip linearly, as time is distorted in the DMT dimension,and as the state fades and time passes the trip begins to blur into one singular experience which happens all at once, like viewing a painting, rather than a linear experience, like a song or movie which can only be experienced in linear time. I only remember the beings fading away, bidding me farewell, and leaving me with positive deep personal insight and knowledge that could change my life. I also received a final sort of message or understanding of the nature of our universe, going along with my 4-dimensional theory, these beings may have created our universe, because we actually live in a multiverse. These 4-D beings can easily pass through our 3D universe, just as we can walk
across a sidewalk because it is flat(2d).I would recommend watching Carl Sagan's video on flatland and the 4th dimension, which can be found on youtube, because he can explain it much better than me.
As the main trip faded, I experienced a nice afterglow with visuals and colors that were timed with the music in a synesthesia type experience. I felt this was a gift from the beings for visiting their world, and gaining this knowledge that so few do in today's modern era of drug restriction.
It really is an amazing drug, and the fact that it has been used for thousands of years and is present in many plants and animals, gives this drug an almost mystical, metaphysical nature. I truly experienced this type of DMT trip, which I had been waiting for over 2 years since I first began researching this drug. But as the shamans and psychonauts say, be patient it will find you when it and you are ready.
Keep in mind, what one may perceive as supernatural, may just be a highly advanced form of technology.Imagine travelling 2000 years back in time, and showing the people of Nazareth simple technology such as a video monitor, or an automobile. Wielder's of the realm of this technology may seem magical or god-like to the people of 11AD, but to us in 2011 AD it is merely technology. In the same way, the transdimensional beings who might have created or left DMT here on Earth for us, may seem supernatural, but it could just
be giving us a slight glimpse into the marvels of their world.

To close: This is not like any drug I have ever experienced, and I've experienced a lot. It is a powerful, mind-altering substance, that can unlock deep introspective thoughts and feelings.
Just as our ancestors used Yage and Ayahusca for thousands of years, you too can experience this ancient tradition, just remember to follow the guidelines I and others have posted.
Experience is your friend, and if you are desperately trying to get some of this substance, just be patient. It will seek you out when you are ready.






TRIP 2
This time the entities were happy to see me return, and were almost snickering/smirking at this human who dared
to return to their realm. I also got a strange sensation of being in an open room with the beings surrounding me again
imparting messages to me, this time it was different. First of all, it was one of the female entitities imparting the
message. I think about many things during the trip, and for a second the notion of time came into my mind. The female
entity responded powerfully, I could almost hear her voice, "Time?!!, Time has no meaning here!" I can describe
the beings better this time, they are humanoid but are covered with energy and light and fractal 3 and 4 d patterns,
rather than skin. Unlike other trippers, I can't really make out their faces, in fact I don't think we are meant too see them too clearly, or maybe the brain can't process what a "God" would look like. I spun around their room, and they all took me in
and enjoyed my presence. I got a strange feeling, almost that they were using some kind of drug too
(their's are more powerful than ours, and this drug Di-DMT I'll call it, allows them to actually bring a 3rd dimensional
being from another universe into their realm. Their drugs are so powerful that they are almost like something out of a Philip K Dick sci-fi novel (Flow my Tears, the Policeman Said),that they can actually distort our reality, and bring us into their dimension. Us smoking the DMT, unlocks the"Third eye" and allows for us to astral project into their dimension.
Imagine our entrance into their dimension from our prespective, you would look and treat it as a child
that is why they are always positive about our being there, and try and teach us something, which is all they want to
do, spread their knowledge. They also enjoy their drug, Di-DMT, which to them has just brought a primitive creature
from another dimension into their realm, maybe they don't understand we are real, and maybe to them they are like the
DMT entities are to us. They seem real, they seem to have conciousness just like a person in the real world does, but
they could just think its an effect of the drug.

To sum up my hypotheses
-Alien entitites(perceived as gods when they first came to earth), enlightned humanity and led to the spread of ancient
technology like the pyramids, Nazca Lines, and Mayan observatories.
-Then, about 2,000 years ago they left us, again I don't know why. My guess is they left Christ(born on this earth, but
the son of gods(in other words in-vitro fertilized alien-human hybdrid), and they let him have his effect on us.
maybe one day, when we've learned enough he will return. Our technology is the key, they are watching us advance, and when
we reach the level that is worthy they shall return
-It is unknown when the aliens first arrived, maybe even tens of thousands of years ago, when apes still roamed
and they led to the creation of Homo Sapiens, the leap in evolution like in "2001: A Space Oddysey". They knew
they could only interefere for so long, and knew they would one day have to leave us and let us grow for ourselves,
but they left us a gift, DMT, a gift from the gods as I call it. Using this, we can access their realm, and they can
return to us in our minds, you can enter their realm, but they do not come back to ours.
-I just hope one day they return and give us the ultimate gift, the true nature of the universe. We still have a lot to
learn though, from my DMT trips I feel the things they like about humanity, is our creativity, our spirit, perserverance,
technology(just baby steps to them), and our natural curiosity. Things they don't like are the destruction of our own home
(global warming and climate change being caused by human activity), overpopulation, war and weapons meant to be used
against other people in a destructive way, the use of hard addictive drugs like Heroin, Methamphetamine, and cocaine
especially.
-Once we can move past these vices, and embrace our positive aspects, and have a genuine love for all the earth and
its many resources and gifts, they will return. I only hope I can live to see it.



Keep in mind both were written in the afterglow of the DMT trip, and these view do not necessarily represent my "actual idea" of how DMT works, or what it is at all. These are merely my trip reports, as written on the days they occured respectively. Upon reading both, I really think the first trip is more representative of the experience, my second trip was harder to remember and was also interrupted(quite rudely) by knocking on my door, just like the alarm going off I forgot much of the trip. Luckily it was after the main peak of the drug, and I had returned to our reality for the most part. I look forward to using it again, when I'm ready. Which right now, seems a while away. I need to investigate more, that is why I have joined this forum.
I have attached some images fitting what I saw during my trips. The first is the mandala which many see as the trip begins, this sometimes reminds that DMT is a drug after all, and that is how you know the trip is beginning. Again, it only appears sometimes though, and changes a lot. The other is a fairly good depiction of the beings and how they appear in hyperspace, although this is someone else's impression, it is fairly close to what I saw them as. I viewed them as sitting cross legged however and constantly rotating around me.
I also added a photo from "Enter the Void" for those who haven't seen the film. These neon type lights were not in the form of a city but rather 2 and 3-d geometric shapes for me, incredible test/light show of the mind's spacial dimension processing.

Thought I would elaborate on my experience by adding my most recent breakthrough, of which I have a much clearer memory of and a more concrete image of what entails a breakthrough for me.
This time I laid in a bed, hit a pipe packed with plenty of DMT and after taking three hits felt enough of the effects to put the pipe down, lay back and close my eyes. Instantly my body starts fading away, it is a lot like an out of body experience.
When I break through it is like this portal above my head has opened and this one huge entity, composed of gold and blue, is crouched on some kind of platform, he is extending his hand welcoming me into hyperspace and says "Now do you remember?". This is the same entity I always see first when I breakthrough, he is masculine, and was the entity I thought of as God when I first broke through.
Soon the beings flood my vision, they are doing strange dances with their arms, folding an unfolding out of each other in every position possible for a humanoid shape to take. Crouching, standing, lotus postion, tumbling, all twisting and contorting in front of me in a sea of different colors making up their forms. They welcome me and do many things in this short period of time, I do remember at one point being shown an object as a point of light in one of the entities hands. I also remember noticing how as the experience unfolds it tends to seem more like a single moment rather than a sequential event, as it really is.
As the beings begin folding back in themselves, I see new entities that I had never seen before. These beings are closing the doorway and pushing all these other entities and beings of hyperspace back into their realm. It is as if they are sealing hyperspace back in my mind. I also remember the hyperspace entities reaching out to me as they always do, and trying to shake my hand. As usual, I extend my hand upward and feel their handshake as they go back into their realm.
Now about these new entities I saw, they were just black silhouettes and were crouched down beneath the doorway to the DMT realm, and they were closing it up. This gave me a new theory on DMT and the entities, which makes far more sense than my previous theories. Basically, DMT expands your consciousness, literally.
It unfolds everything you know, all of your memories, and knowledge and lays it out in front of you visually. Its like seeing a map of your consciousness laid out in front of you. It appears in the form of entities because of our own bias to prefer human forms(for some at least, other people report aliens and animals). As they start to fold back in, it is your brain locking up all of this consciousness into a neat processing state that we call normal consciousness.
It makes more sense to me now why people call these psychedelics consciousness-expanders.
Overall this one breakthrough was much more satisfying than my previous ones, I still have enough spice left for one more journey, which I will take outdoors, on a mountain if possible. This will probably be my last journey for a long time as I feel I have experimented enough with this for now. Its now time to use what I learned and utilize what I gained through these experiences into making my life and others' better.

I really liked your post, a lot. Actually, what caught my eye was the title. I actually just watched this movie the other day, and yes it is truly an amazing movie. It does an excellent job of depicting DMT use and has a very well thought out story. If anyone wants to watch it, you can find it on Netflix instant watch right now. That's how I found it at least. Parts of the movie were kind of sad, but for the most part it was a very deeply moving movie.

On to your trip, I feel as though I can relate. On my second trip, I found the entities you describe, who also wanted to take into that next level. I am really just so amazed at how this can be so real. In fact, it is more real than anything I have ever experienced. It is rather assuring to know that this psychical reality is only a small portion of what is in store for us. I wish to make sense of this all, but I know it will never happen. I try to accept the knowledge I was given and not be greedy but it is hard to not ask for more. I mean, words can not even begin to describe the miracles we have uncovered through this seemingly simple drug.

If you haven't tried taking it in a drinkable form, you should give it a shot. I enjoy smoking it, but I don't like the jolt and short lived experience it gives as much as I think I would like the easing effect and longer experience that drinking would give. There is a specific term for it when its prepared as a drink, Aushuka?, but I can't remember it. Anyways, I hope you continue to venture into this world. I am a big hesitant as it always scares me and makes me feel as though I am literally going psychotic towards the end, so I space out my experiences.

Also, its frustrating trying to explain your experience as there really is no way to do it properly, and unless the person you are trying to explain it to has used DMT before than they think your either crazy or its just the drug that made you have that experience. But, they are so unaware of the truth, it really upsets me how closed minded people can truly be.

Oh and one more thing, the first photo you uploaded in your post, I actually remember a vague experience of an entity that resembled that photo. The patterns surrounding it were also present, all throughout and more complex though. I don't know for sure, but that photo when I looked at it jolted a very sincere memory in my mind. I have a faint recollection of that photo from my trip, I wonder if that means anything specific...

Is this truly just our sub conscious at play here? No... Definitely not. I can't prove it, I don't have evidence, I have faith, and that's all that I need.

Thanks for your reply, the drink you are talking about is Ayahuasca, and I have been interested in that for some time. I have never tried it, but from what I hear it is a more spaced out experience and more in-depth.
That photo, I found while searching for DMT mandalas, that entity appear similar to the one I see when I first enter the hyperspace, many arms and some kind of crown on his head, he is composed entirely of gold and blue colors, truly beautiful.
