Are you here to fulfil some kind of destiny?

Do you think no one has a predetermined mission and all this is crap?

Maybe you do have a mission, but based on your own decisions and desires?

My own opinion is that it is very beautiful to believe one has a destiny to fulfil (that is what I always believe when I take psychedelics), but when I sober up (not implying that the sober state is better) I think that we choose our destiny. And that some people have the potential to have great lives and create a better world but choose to do nothing and just be one more statistic. And some other decide to be different and create positive changes.

Yes I know that under certain points of view whatever anyone does is worthless and lacks any meaning at a cosmic level etc, still, what is your mission... if you have any?

Sometimes I think my mission is to spread information about psychedelics and "turn on" people with information -not with substances- and they later will decide if they choose to explore their own psyche and inner space. But some other times I think about how wonderful and comfortable it is to just go to work in my office, fuck some girls, chill at the pool and not giving a fuck about humanity or the planet and a very important thing: Not being criticized by anyone for being a "fucking junky that is crazy about drugs" or "someone that wants to destroy our society" (maybe I am guilty of this one).

I mean, I know there are a lot of people who think like me in this forum about having to spread information to the rest of the world about psychedelics, but I also know that some people feel like its their mission and others may feel like its just something they think its necessary to do but not as their mission or anything romantic like that.

Anyway, thanks for reading.

I came for the booze and i stay for the women.
No really in all seriousness im here to aid in the crumbling of capitalist modern society. I do this during interpersonal interactions buy reducing social constructs, paradigms and opinions to their fundamentally irrational truths.

Ill leave up to the kids to build flowers out of rubble. Im here to DESTROY.

I sometimes feel that I wish to spread psychedelics, transcend mundane social reality, dance with the disenchanted until we reach the stars...etc. Other times I look around, about the internet, and it seems it is all happening by itself anyway, with or without me. There doesn't seem to be any new fields to tackle, lots of folk are writing books on psychedelics - what can be added?

On psychedelics, sometimes it feels as if there is something mighty in the future waiting for me. Just now though, I'm basically a new person every few months; having not found myself - I feel in no position to say I know how to help the world... but then I look at the news and realize I have more to say than a lot of people...

For now, stand by and await vision for inspiring action

I try to live my beliefs and provide an example to others that there are alternatives to resignation and suffering, while still trying my best to keep my mouth shut and not shove those beliefs down anyone's throat. I don't always succeed in this, but that's the goal.

I often feel like I am signpost along people's life path attempting to point the way toward greater health and happiness, which I honestly feel is what all beings truly desire within their deepest selves.

I also like to "turn on" as many people as I can to the magic and wonder that is all around them, whether that be with a square of blotter paper or a nice long conversation.
Row, row, row your boat, Gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily...

I like to Travel in ASIA and LATIN AMERICA, i love to "love back" to nature through the people. My mission in the end is to TRY to fix people that take themselves and their jobs too seriously, and to spread the "Travel, use nature to help, and be thankful philosophy" Cool

My mission is to find and bind a group of people and together with them found an isolated, self-sustaining & completely independant community.
To lay the foundations of a significantly more sane culture.

And I will persevere in the face of oceans of hardship, cynicism and redicule.

Now and then I also get tempted to fall into passivity, participate in the mainstream and be mindless and careless.
But I quickly come back to my mission, because soon enough I realise that I had merely caved in under peer pressure.
The peer-pressure is artificial indoctrination to keep "deviants" from straying too far from the rotten capitalist ideal. Pavlovs principle;
You do "bad" and you receive punishment and encounter resistance. You do good and you are rewarded as life is made more comfortable for you.

I guess "mainstreaming" is just too unbearable for me to really be seduced or even forced to live that way. My Mission is just too strong and
will simply not allow me to neglect it and live a more comfortable life instead. All the things that modern city life offers us, we can enjoy them
just as much, if not much better, in a self-sustaining community.

My mission is not your mission, but it is a partition of the mission. In other words, DMT > DMT

a large part of my mission is about inheriting and preserving knowledge of the old ways. I'm an herbalist, a beekeeper, and a wild fermenter amongst other things. I'm into the sort of medicine making wherein intention is the most important ingredient.

my life path is also about raising children these days, my first was born to me 7 weeks ago....I am in love!

that's the best answer.

Always observing the G.E. Moore philosophy, I think people tend to go through life doing whatever satisfies them.

well, except for catholics and emos. they're just miserable.

healing other people from scary disease is a fun way to spend some time

So many beautiful things to do, time is such a nag. One has to choose all the time due to the restrictions of it...

My mission at the moment is two things:

Having a rich experience of life.
Helping my family have a rich life.

I think I chose this but it's hard to tell.
