hi there everyone my name is ross im 32 and im a traveller.

i been travelling for 12 years and its been pretty much clean living, only drinking and weed everynow and then, i guess i was caught up in the way of thinking society views drugs i thought only losers get into that sort of thing (in that respect i was a shepple person).

I was half listening to an interview and DMT came up and it peaked my interest so i looked it up online and wow it blew my mind i felt this is it, heres the answer this opens up a whole new world of exploration. I have to admit though im afraid to take the leap striaght to DMT would appreciate any advice on going forward because now that the door is open for me im goin through.

Its kind of funny how much my mind is opened up to excepting experimenting with muchrooms and other Physcadelics i had absolutely no interest just a few short weeks ago, thanks DMT for opening up my mind a little, i haven't meet you yet but hope some day i'll be lucky enough

Thanks a lot and all the best Smile

I have come to the same conclusion as you! When I was younger (im 21) I used to HATE (thanks for propoganda) anything classified as a "drug". Of course, my eyes have opened up the past couple years and now I want to experience mushrooms and hopefully one day DMT!

My suggestion is have a couple of experiences with mushrooms before you try DMT. Especially if you have never had a psychedelic experience. Not necessary, but IMHO worth it.

I mean, I did DMT with no other psychedelic experience (except for MDMA, but I don't consider that a genuine psychedelic...)

My girlfriend has done DMT with me a few times, and she has never even so much as smoked cannabis. I educated her and guided her through it, and she has now had a set of valuable experiences with it.

Don't sweat it, man. Don't underestimate it, it WILL blow you away, but it's a positive thing.
"'Tis true, without falsehood, certain and most true.
That which is below is as that which is above, and that which is above is as that which is below, to accomplish the miracle of the One thing.
And as all things have arisen from one by the meditation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation.
The Sun is its father, the Moon its mother,
the wind hath carried it in its belly, the earth its nurse."

DMT really is IT..but dont expect answers..psychedelics and especially DMT has proved to me that answers are just a diversion..they are never the main event. There will always be more questions, that is the nature of growth.

I fully believe that DMT and harmala alkaloids are evolutionary catalysts that are here for a reason and are going to play a large role in the unfolding of who we are and the paradigms we choose to manifest in the comming future. If you think DMT blew your mind already..wait till you ingest the stuff.

In the realm of psychedelics, ditch your expectations. No impression formed in the mind from any combination of images, sounds, or words can convey what the actual experience is like. Psychedelics are all about you, really, and I think you'll be deeply surprised at just what they can show you about yourself.

Exactly. Cool

I've never done DMT, quite possibly never will, but I can assure you that mushrooms are a valid tool for exploration. Just start out low, don't hurry, and don't get tangled up in worries, disappointments, or any other thought-based distractions. Meditative practice is a great help here.

Good luck and safe travels. Wink

Yes, I can relate. I got in to psychedelics from reading trip reports. There was something in all those reports that reached me. Somehow, I understood that to which they pointed, without having tried it myself. I knew it was something I would have to experience. I knew I waited my whole life to experience it. And when I finally did experience it, it was in many ways not at all what I was expecting. Yet in every way it was more satisfying than I expected. Not to say that the same would be true for everyone. As I said, I was attracted to psychedelics, and they were attracted to me. Not everyone is meant for them. I'm sure a lot of people would find the experiences, and the trip reports scary, but not me.

Ooooh, fractal man, you turn me on when you talk like that. My mind, I mean. There is not even a close metaphor in existence that I could compare my dmt experiences with, and my relationship with dmt. This is THE thing, other than existence itself..... which itself, tends to get summed up within the dmt experience. The fact that this stuff even exists..... oh my God it's just too perfect. What a ride this life is. Holy shit. I feel like I won some kind of cosmic lottery by being blessed with this stuff. But then, I look around the room, I'll remember my most profound realizations, and realize..... not only was I blessed with psychedelics, but I'm the one who imagined this whole existence up. I am the imagination of the cosmos, or rather, it is me. I wasn't blessed, I just am. And then I sigh, and breathe, and feel as content as possible.

Many people after trying DMT for the first time say that it reminded them of a place they have known before (as child, before birth, in deep sleep etc.)...
...as it is endogenous to (i believe) all animals, we are all experiencing a very mild dose of DMT all the time!
So you have tried it, you've just yet to try more...
thanks for your intro...Very happy

Thanks for all the feed back guys, i feel im on the verge of a great journey, its great to have support from people who have been there before.

The way i see it, is before you go to university you must attend Kindergarden, Kindergarden being weed and university being DMT and the years in between stand for the differand grades of mushrooms lol. for course you could go straight to university if your a genius but i not going to make that assumption lol. but at the end of the day i want to graudate because i just feel its really calling.

Thanks again for the feed back and all the best.

DMT is nothing like anything categorizable - almost anything can happen!

@ kyrolima.
Actually categorizing DMT was not my point at all, what i was going for is i need to prepare my self, that's all.

I’m not sure there is any preparation you can make! For me at least there is nothing like it. There are several other tools that are similar in strength and intensity, but they all access very different spaces.

As someone fresh into journeying with spice (had my first journey last night) I would have to agree with this.

I've had a decent amount of entheogenic experiences before last night, but spice is an extremely powerful tool with it's own flavor. But if you feel that you should warm up with others, then I would definetly recommend it. Smile
Often times, in my experience, these gut feelings will lead you in the right direction.

As for what you could try before hand if you decide to, that'll be your call. See what other entheogens are available to you, and make sure it feels right.
