IMO, the best way to get started with caapi and find a dose that works for what you need is to make a tea with a 1/4 pound of vine. That way you can measure out your dose in mls, and work your way up very easily and safely. You can divide the total weight by # of end mls to determine the amount of vine equivalent. The reason I'm not recommending a dose is because all of our MAO enzymes operate in different ways and using ayahuasca for example, two different people of similar weight may require different doses to achieve the proper level to orally activate DMT. Some take 15-25g others 50g+. The point is that you really need to test the actual material to determine what your body needs, and how potent your vine is witch is another way effects can vary between similar doses.

Also, once you find a vine and vendor that works well for you, its recommended to buy 1kg plus. That way you can work with it and get to know how potent and the best way for you to consume the vine. not to mention it will have the same potency, which is not a common factor between vendors or vine types. Even similar vine may have different alkaloid levels. If you purchase a large amount, make tea, grind, extract, or whatever- you will be standardizing your alkaloid level so long as it is done in one batch.

BTW- The vine i currently have and am loving is a 100ml extract of 1/2kg black caapi from kt botanicals. Very easy to dose, potent and tastes like caapi, witch is a good thing with a rather sweet earthy taste.

Not the best value for caapi when you can get a kilo for 70 bucks and the extract is about the same, but to be fair thats the cheapest yellow not black caapi i can find and its from a different vendor. Not to mention KT does all the work for you and do a damn good job at that. 3 days of brewing, and reducing. The jungle way.

In a society in which nearly everybody is dominated by somebody else's mind or by a disembodied mind, it becomes increasingly difficult to learn the truth about the activities of governments and corporations, about the quality or value of products, or about the health of one's own place and economy.
In such a society, also, our private economies will depend less upon the private ownership of real, usable property, and more upon property that is institutional and abstract, beyond individual control, such as money, insurance policies, certificates of deposit, stocks, etc. And as our private economies become more abstract, the mutual, free helps and pleasures of family and community life will be supplanted by a kind of displaced citizenship and by commerce with impersonal and self-interested suppliers...
The great enemy of freedom is the alignment of political power with wealth. This alignment destroys the commonwealth - that is, the natural wealth of localities and the local economies of household, neighborhood, and community - and so destroys democracy, of which the commonwealth is the foundation and practical means.” - Wendell Berry

My experience has been the yellow is a good starting point.
It is a gentler experience .

The black vine is strong stuff and can be really really intense.
I think careful dosing is in order with this stuff

Kt botanicals is a good reliable vendor I,ve used them for years now .
